Hades And Persephone Fanfiction

Chapter 1

Persephone's POV:

      I ran through the garden the flowers blooming at my touch. I giggled and ran to the end of the garden to find my father Zeus and my mother Demeter talking. Zeus saw me standing there and immediately stopped talking making mother turn around to look at me anger in her eyes.              " Mother, Have I angered you?" I said slightly confused. "No, my beautiful flower me and your father were just talking about his brother Hades." She said giving me a small smile. I have heard about Hades, He was mean and feared by many gods and goddesses. I myself feared him and I have never met him. Which I guess he should be since he is the god of the underworld. Zeus talked making me snap out of my thoughts, " Well I must head back to Olympias I have more business to intend to there, thank you for meeting with me about my brother have a good afternoon."

 He left in a flash and I ran up to mother and gave her a huge hug. "Mother why were you talking about Hades." I shivered by even saying his name. " Hades has taking a interest in you my flower and I fear he will get what he wants, so please baby stay by my side at all times and don't talk to him because he will get what he wants, he always does. 

" yes mother, But why me mother?"

" I don't know my love and I don't want to find out so do what I say and nothing bad will come to you."

"Mother can I go to my room to get something I promise I won't be long."

"yes but don't talk to anyone and hurry."

I nodded my head and ran down the pathway not stopping until I reached my room. I went over to my bed made out of roses and grabbed my book that lay there. Just as I was leaving to go back to mother one of my nymph friends flew up to me. She told me that she needed help and that someone had killed one of the nymphs in the garden. I followed the nymph still wondering who would want to kill such a innocent creature. We made it to the garden to find one of the nymphs dead on the grass blood pooling around her dead body staining the grass with her blood. 

 I hears a dark and raspy chuckle, "Don't cry over something so useless and small. come with me now my love and you will never be sad again."

I knew who that voice belonged to, it was Hades himself. I turned around my face twisted with anger and grief.

"All life means something, Every form of life no matter how small matters to me and it always will. I will not come with you because I hate you and I would rather die than go with you to the underworld!" His face darkened with anger his charcoal eyes somehow getting darker. 

" You will come with me the easy way or I will take you forcefully. " he said venom laced in every word. 

On hearing his words I turned around and ran, my dress flowing behind me. I didn't make it far before I felt Hades grab my arm and pull me into his hard chest. I tried to pull away from him but it didn't do anything and he just help me tighter. He nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck chuckling darkly. "you really think that you can escape me my love?" I cringed away in disgust. I tried to get out of his arms once more but he just got angry. "I didn't want to have to do this but you leave me no choice." Before I can register what he said I feel something press onto my mouth. I screamed and struggled to get out of his hold but he just held the cloth tighter to my face. I started to breath in the chemicals making me slowly get weaker I felt my legs give out but he caught me picking me up bridal style. " you will be mine forever, I will never let you leave me." that is the last thing I heard before I passed out.
