Magic.
It can lead to many wonderful things. Many trials and tests of strength, as well as an adventure or two. So when I tell you that with magic comes an adventure that you won't ever forget, allow me to share with you the story of a young frost elf named Taelynne and what happened when she practiced a spell that she just wasn't ready for.1.
The conclave was lit by a mixture of candle light and moonlight as the flames flickered against the wall and the moon shined upon the open books and magical apparatuses. Pages old and worn filled with magical texts and symbols laid open upon the large wooden oak table as Taelynne, or Tyler as she was nicknamed, continued her lecture to her two students. Her smile beamed as she spoke to the two pupils, her words ever so clear and concise as she explained ritualism and it's finer points.
"So therefore, when you create a spell, you must always make sure that your formulae and ritual are well thought out. The slightest mistake could cost you more than you would ever bargain for. More than you ever though imaginable" she explained. Tyler's icy blues eyes locked on her students. Her light blue skin glowed with the moon illuminating her elven figure. Adorned in a dark blue dress top with a light blue full coverage skirt, she moved with a soft walk to her spellbook that sat upon a lectern. The wind blew through the window, flipping the pages as she approached. She placed her lace gloved hand upon the book to stop the turning of the pages and with her other hand, slide her silver white hair behind her ear and straightened her elegant witch's pointed hat which sat upon her head; the ribbon tied around its base blew in the wind.
"Right. So not thinking about what you are doing and just guessing is bad." Rylei said in summation. He was writing in his own little spellbook as she spoke.
"Thats your question?" Grijo inquired. "You just watched Tyler stroll across the room in a straight-outta-a-storybook strut..." she paused, her Djinn mouth slightly ajar. "... and your concentrated on the lesson." Grijo's hands went into the air, clearly she felt Rylei's attention should have been else where.
"What! I was just trying to be attentive." Rylei defended, but he couldn't help it. He glanced over at the frost elf as she looked at them and he saw exactly what Grijo meant and smiled. Blushing slightly on his Sylvan cheeks.
"Busted." Grijo muttered to him. Rylei sat straight up, shaking his head and letting his brown hair dance around his eyes as he tried to regain focus. He shot a look that could kill towards Grijo, his dagger eyes backed with his elven gems of a turquoise blue shimmered in the light as he clearly wanted to hurt Grijo.
"Shut up, woman" He muttered back. His hand slowly slid down to his sword handle as he wrapped his around Forever's grip.
"Enough, you two!" Tyler snapped. She placed one of her hands on her hips as she glared at her two students, or snowflakes as she called them. Rylei released his grip and tuned back to her. Grijo did the same. "Now, that finishes the lesson on Spell Creation" Tyler walked over to the table and looked at them, smile returning. "Any questions?"
Grijo spoke first,"Can we discuss portals and dimensional spells?"
