Chapter 15: She Smiled And He Realised He Was In Love.

Wilmer had calmed himself down by the time he'd arrived back at the hotel which was 2 hours later after going back to the mansion to see how things were back there, he was pleased to see his employees working hard including Steve who was already bringing up new ideas to attack on the Russians.

When he did he seen Demi on the couch laughing hysterically at a story Irene had told her, who was sitting on the other couch while Elisa sat cuddled against Demi. Her eyes glued to the TV screen which must of been playing Disney channel since it was now her favourite channel to watch and although Wilmer had went against his orders allowing the, to watch TV he couldn't take it away from Elisa in that moment. She was giggling wildly as High School Musical played in her background and Wilmer found it adorable, instead of ignoring the 3 he slammed the door shut, allowing him to be noticed immediately at the startled Demi.

He'd thought about Irene arriving and noticed something was wrong, the woman never stepped foot out of the mansion unless going shopping for groceries and certainly not to accompany a prisoner with a murderer. All while trying to figure out what could possibly attract her to staying with them he realised something, with Irene being around she didn't like him hurting others in front of her and ALWAYS gave his prisoners everything they wanted.

The woman was going to allow Demi and Elisa all kinds of privileges that he'd never given to a prisoner and that couldn't happen. He couldn't give Demi and Elisa the luxury life, that's not what a prisoner should have. Prisoners are there to be punished for doing him wrong and if that wasn't what Demi and Elisa was getting then he's done everything wrong.

"Jesus boy! You gave us a fright, especially me. I'm getting old you know." Irene put her hand to her chest and Wilmer rolled his eyes at her exaggeration.

"No your not abuela, your healthier than ever." Wilmer smiled before his tone suddenly changed. "Now, not to be mean abuela but I need you to go back to the mansion. Right now would be good, I can't have you disrupting my job." Wilmer shook his head while Irene suddenly sat up straighter, as if ready to put the man in his place while Demi watched.

I wish Wilmer was as comfortable with me as he is with her, Demi frowned as she continued to run her hand through Elisa's hair.

"Your 'job', you mean hurting the lovely woman over here for no reason at all." Wilmer growled at her words, angry at the woman for protecting Demi. Irene never had gotten involved with his job but yet now she decides to be involved, destroying his reputation along the way.

Demi already knew too much about him, more than a prisoner ever knew and he wasn't going to let her no more. On his 'walk' he thought things through and allowing a young woman to disrupt his reputation wasn't helping him out, he needed her to know who's boss and when they arrive back at the mansion things will be back to normal like how they were when she first arrived.

"I'm not hurting her for no reason at all, she chose to get involved with us and now she's dealing with the consequences. I love you abuela but interfering with my work isn't part of your job, treating this woman to luxuries isn't going to help her understand that we can kill her." They we're both talking as if Demi wasn't in the room and although she wanted to say 'you told me you wouldn't kill me' she decided not to speak up at the aggression in Wilmer's voice that warned Irene not to annoy him more.

"Well it stops now, she is amazing and has her whole life ahead of her. Making her life hell wont benefit anybody in this situation accept you because you love hearing people beg for mercy. Sometimes I have to interfere in your work because you don't know how to handle some situations, I'm staying here to make sure Demi and Elisa are safe until they arrive back to the mansion! It isn't up for discussion." Irene raised her eyebrows, challenging the man until her finally backed down.
