If the only thing to fear is fear itself
I find it funny that I'm so scared to be
Courageous.
I am most scared when no one expects me
to stand up.
I am most fearful when not speaking out
is the normal thing to do.
In these moments
I think to myself:
am i bound to be a person stunted by fear
as has been majority of the people on this planet?
Or am I going to be the person who is scared to be courageous?
Because at the very least,
If i'm fearing my own courage,
It means I have it.
It means I am prepared to act on it.
In that moment, I understand it's my only option.
I am done with only speaking when i'm afraid of being fearful
I am speaking when I fear being courageous.
