"Ugh, you're boring. I'm trying to get me a man," she replied.
I frowned.
"Then I'm leaving. Find your own ride back to your house." I said, turning away to try and get through the crowd of people grinding their bodies to the deep, hypnotic beat.
I didn't know the song.
I heard bits and pieces of men hitting on me as I made my way out, but for the most part, I ignored them.
"Where yo man mama?" "Back that ass up to me." "Ride my dīck like you riding that high."
One in particular pissed me off, so I stopped and turned around.
I couldn't find who had done it, so I turned back, my lip between my teeth.

As I gathered myself, I caught a look of who I had ran in to.
"You made me spill this red-ass drink on my jeans," spoke a smooth voice.
He was smirking, but I couldn't tell if he was cool with it or hitting on me.
"I'm sorry," I breathed.
"Speak up, it's too loud."
I looked up into his eyes, which I just now noticed were low and red.
