Ross's POV
I'm currently at the flower shop to get flowers for my girlfriend. Let me tell you about my girlfriend, she's really gorgeous, she's funny, sweet, loving, and full on amazing. She's my life. Her name is Laura. Laura Marano. I met her when she started working for my company that was handed down to me by my father.
She was my secretary, then we started to hang out and she turned to my best friend. After, she became my girlfriend. And tonight, she's going to be my fiancé. I'm proposing to her tonight.
When Laura and I were dating, she introduced me to her daughter. Yes, she has a daughter. That didn't stop me to keep seeing Laura though. I love her daughter like she's my own. Laura had her daughter when she was 22. The father was a bastard who took advantage of Laura when she was drunk. When she had told him she was pregnant, he disappeared.
Laura's POV
I'm at my boyfriend's house with my daughter Nicole. She's two years old and she's my whole world including my boyfriend. I love them both so much.
When I found out I was having Nicole, I was terrified. I was still young and I wasn't ready. I had lived with my parents at the time and they weren't happy about the news, but they supported me through out the pregnancy. I moved out a year ago and moved to Seattle. I raised Nicole with the help of my sister.
I got a job at Lynch enterprises as my boyfriend's secretary. He was my boss at first, then we started to become friends, then best friends, then we eventually started dating and now he's my boyfriend.
Nicole really likes him. She never goes a day without talking about him. He's like a father to her.
Nicole: mommy, when's daddy coming home?
Nicole calls Ross her dad since he's always around and he likes it when Nicole calls her dad.
Laura: soon sweetie. He just got out of work so he's on his way home.
Right when I said that, the door opens.
Ross: I'm home!
Nicole runs towards the door to hug Ross.
Nicole: hi daddy!
Ross: hello princess!
He kisses Nicole's head. He walks to me and gives me a kiss.
Ross: hi baby
Laura: hi babe.
He puts his arm around me while carrying Nicole. I love this. It's like we're a family.
Ross: I want to take you guys out tonight.
Laura: where are we gonna go?
Ross: we're going to go out to eat. I want to spend time with you guys.
I smile at the thought. He's so sweet.
Ross: you want to?
Laura: I'd love too.
He smiles and kisses me again.
Ross: I love you.
Laura: I love you too.

We're on our way to the restaurant. Ross told me to dress up fancy. I was wearing a red dress, Nicole was wearing a blue dress that had a tutu skirt. Ross wore his white button up shirt with trousers.
When we pull up to the restaurant, Ross gets out first and gets Nicole. Then he helps me out. Once we get inside, the host lead us to a private area.
Laura: babe, you didn't have to get us a private area.
Ross: but I wanted too. And tonight's going to be a night to remember.
We sit down, and we looked at the menu.

It was now time for the first course. But before the waiters came with our food, he came out with a big bouquet of red roses. He hands them to me and I take them. I look across the table at Ross, he had a big smile on his face.
Ross: read the card.
I take the card and start reading it.
'Dear Laura,
You're my everything. You've opened
my up eyes to new things and have
shown me the world in a different perspective. I'm so lucky to have you in my life.
You're the love of my life. You let me meet Nicole who's like a daughter to me. I know we have our ups and downs, but we
always love each other at end. You're the most perfect girl I've met and I can't think of anyone else to spend the rest of my life with.
Now look up.'

I look up to see Ross on one knee and a ring in his hand. I put a hand over my mouth and more tears start to go down my face. He takes my hand.
Ross: Laura, everything in the letter is from my heart. I love you so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you forever. Will you marry me?
Nicole: say yes mommy!!
I couldn't speak. I nod while smiling widely and tears coming down my face. He puts the ring on my finger then I kiss him.
Laura: I love you.
Ross: I love you more.
Suddenly, I heard cheering. I pull away from Ross to see our whole family with big smiles on their faces. Ross's family was there and so was mine.
I hugged my parents who I haven't seen in over a year. I hugged Ross's family also. There were a lot of 'congratulations' and 'I'm happy for you'. They're so sweet I love them all.
I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life and my daughter. Hopefully, she'll have siblings in the future.
