Disappointment (Misono and Lily)

Hey guys. So who's ready for the next Servamp one-shot? I am! It's been so long! Though, I still have one more week until this fall semester is over. Finals week...Help me...

Anyway, another one-shot of some of your favorite characters. I wanted to feature Misono and Lily because they fit the theme of this particular one-shot. I guess it kind of fits the kind of mood that I feel a lot of times.

This will take place when Misono first wakes up in the hospital after his fight with Tsubaki's subclass. A little twist on what happened at the hospital.

Besides, I love Misono and Lily. They are just super hilarious and both of them are precious cinnamon rolls. I would say more, but I think this author's note has gone on far enough. Let's start. Hope you guys enjoy.

By the way, do you guys love the purple hearts? I just thought that it fits the Lust pair. Misono's color scheme is purple and Lily AKA All of Love. Works, right?

And look at the picture of Misono at the hospital. Precious cinnamon roll! Ah!!! He's too adorable!!! The way he's blushing with embarrassment! But at the same time, he's just ashamed of himself for not being strong enough. He's injured too... Damn, I care about this boy too much.

Eyes flutter open, revealing two big purple orbs. Vision remains slightly blurry. White is the only color that is recognizable.

"You're finally awake."

"Lily..." The boy softly whispered to the source of the voice as his eyes slowly shifted its attention to it. Right next to the boy was his partner, who was currently peeling a red apple with a paring knife. A quiet tune that he hummed with that subtle smile of his as he peeled through the red cover.

"You were asleep for half a day now," said Lily as he continues to peel the apple, humming the same tune.

Misono stared at the peels for no particular reason. The strands of apple peel gradually getting longer as time passed until it finally falls.

"Is this...the hospital?" Misono slowly asked the man sitting next to him as he tried to sit up. He used his arms to push himself up, but it couldn't handle the pressure. They gave up, making him fall back on his bed. A clang of metal hitting the floor and a splattering sound rang throughout the room. Misono was in Lily's arms, still feeling a stinging pain from the soft landing.

"Don't push yourself Misono," Lily worriedly told his partner.

Misono remained silent as Lily helped him lie back down on the bed. Lily made sure that his pillow is nice and fluffy and his blanket is soft and warm. After that, he grabbed the dirty knife and the smushed apple from the group and placed it on the discard pile full of apple peels. Then he went into the bathroom to grab some paper towels to clean up the mess.

Misono just watched the man as he walked back and forth to clean up the mess that he had caused. Silently cursing to himself, Misono decided to switch his attention to the ceiling, where he could do no harm and cause more trouble for the servamp.

Misono suddenly shot up from his bed, disregarding the sharp pain in his chest. The deathly clutching onto the collar of the purple button up shirt he wore. The hitching of his breath as he held his grip; breathing through those tightly gritting pearly white teeth. The familiar taste of salt on his lips.

Drip...drop...The sound of little droplets landing on his thin white blanket resonating in his eardrums.

"Lily," Misono slowly uttered the name of his servamp. Lily was already there by the time Misono finished calling his name. He stood tall in front of his master, patiently waiting for an order. But Lily could guess what the purple haired boy would say. It was written all across the sound of his voice that called his name.

"I will happily oblige." No longer able to hold in his excitement did Lily grin ever so widely.

"Dammit Lily! You don't even know what you are talking about!" Misono turned to his servamp with a murderous growl.

"Of course I do!" A cheerful Lily said, with the grin growing wider and wider. "I am your servamp after all!"

"How the hell--"

The taken aback response of Misono drowned out by the immediate response of Lily. "Haven't you noticed that you feel less tense now."

Misono took a moment of silence to realize what happened. His gaze falling to his open hands, which were no longer trembling.

"Dammit..." Misono pouted, cheeks red ablaze as his eyes are elsewhere now.

Lily placed a gentle hand on the boy's shoulder. His grin just as gentle looked at his expression. "You're a good friend."

Misono cracked a smile as he heard those words of recognition. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. Without a second to spare after exhaling did Misono elbowed Lily's gut. Turning toward the injured man that happened to stumble backwards from the force of that attack did Misono cockily smirked.

"That'll teach you to inhibit my moment of greatness! It took a lot of effort to do such a thing, you know!"

With another moment of silence, Misono closed his eyes once more, and took one long deep breath. When his eyes opened once more, it focused right into the red eyes of the servamp. "I want to grow stronger to protect all of those I care for, especially my friends. Will you help me Snow Lily?"

Lily, stood tall as he met the gaze of Misono. Without hesitation did he smile, saying yes.

💜Bonus Scene💜

"You know," Lily smirked, which signalled Misono to brace for some kind of embarrassing remark. But it was worse than the purple haired boy could predict.

"It's a good thing you asked for more training, because that was weak attack."

Misono aggressively hissed at Lily, who walked further away from him.

"Bastard, you dare mock me!" Misono hopped off the hospital bed, with a loud thud as his bare feet hit the ground. With a murderous glare did Misono start to walk toward the playful Snow Lily, who bolted out of the room.

"Get back here and fight me!" With those venomous words, Misono ran out of his room to hunt down that jerk of a servamp he called his partner.
