Merry Christmas everyone! If you don't know, it's also Licht's birthday today! I couldn't help but celebrate Christmas and his birthday with this one-shot. Not really Christmas themed, but just as great...I hope...
This one-shot is inspired by these panels from the Sleepy Life of Servamp Volume 4.
I hope everyone enjoys this chapter and have a nice merry Christmas. Until next time!
Happy Birthday Licht!

"Lich-tan! Where did you go?" Hyde called out through his cupped hands. He has been wandering around the city for the entire day now, searching for his eve, but the search always turned out to be a failure every single time.
Hyde placed his hands on his hips to catch his breath. He sighed with frustration after taking a few deep breaths. He was sick and tired of looking for that bastard. He swore that Licht was within his location every single time. How can he tell? It's because of that damn distance limit that was always a nuisance to the servamp of greed. This was actually the one time he thought that it was useful since it was kind of a tracker to indicate if his eve was close by or not. Even now, Licht was no where to be found. It's as if he was avoiding him. Hyde really wanted to find Licht and maybe give him a slight beating for making him wander around for literally the entire day, but today was a special day and he just wanted to cease his mischievous actions for the time being.
Hyde took out his phone from his pocket to check the time. 6:00. Hyde cursed under his breath. It's that time already. He wanted to scream his head off for taking this long just to find one guy. Hyde decided not to waste anymore time and continued his search. Hopefully, before it was too late.

The sound of keys jingling as they were taken out of his pocket. Another jingle sound when they hit the door. The last sound of those keys hitting the wooden coffee table accompanied with the sound of a door closing followed by a the lock setting in its place.
After removing his scarf and winter coat, the boy hung them neatly on the coat hanger that's placed next to the door and decided to make himself hot chocolate to keep warm.
He walked toward the cupboards of the kitchen and opened it, revealing a rack full of plain white mugs. However, there was one mug that stood out the most. It was a small mug with the design of the piano's black and white keys all around. The handle was a shiny black treble cleft. Licht reached for that mug and pulled it out of the cupboard.
After closing the cupboard, Licht opened one of the drawers to take out a packet of his favorite brand of hot chocolate. Then, he opened the fridge and grabbed a gallon of milk. Once he got everything needed to make hot chocolate, Licht placed the things on the table and sat down on the nearest chair.
Licht eventually found himself staring at the mug. This simple object always tends to bring back memories from when he was seven years old. He got this mug from his parents as a gift for his very first concert. Lot of things happened that day. He remembered how he was so excited to know what both of his parents were able to hear his music for the first time. He kind of laughed when he thought of the reaction of his parents. They were just sitting in the audience, waiting in anticipation their son to come on stage, only to be astounded by the sudden change of the color of his hair. The fact that he was super nervous was kind of stupid now that he thought about it. His color change in hair and the how he could barely walk to the piano. All of it was so stupid that it was kind of laughable.
