Chains

The Blast

After the training, I went to take a nap. I laid down my tired and overwhelmed body on my bed and just dozed off. Suddenly I woke up at like dinner time, breathing heavily. I slept for long I guess...
The only thought that came after that was the blast is tomorrow....
I quickly got out of bed and ran straight towards the closest room. Sadie's. "Sadie!!Sadie!!!open the damn door!!!" I said banging her door. She quickly opened it. But what I found was a person in a mask with a gun. "Who are you??" The person asked. She is a girl... "Where the bloody hell is Sadie?????"
"First answer me..."
"I am Andrea...."
"Full name."
"Andrea Willows..Now tell me where Sadie is!!! Or I swear you will be dead soon..." I threatened.
The girl froze for a second. "Andrea.." She muttered to herself. I frowned. Those eyes were so  familiar. "Tell me where Saditha is, right now!!!" I said taking out my gun. We were all given one for protection.
Suddenly the girl fell, behind her was saditha who knocked her unconscious. "Are you okay??" I asked her. "Yes..." She said. "What should we do with her??" Sadie asked me.
"Well, let us take her to Lexi..."

"What should we do??" I asked after practically dragging the body from Sadie's room to lexi's. "I say, we set her free and follow her..." She said. "Also...ummm...I overheard Ray one day, he said there is a bomb blast...and it is tomorrow..." I said in a teriffied voice. "We need security right now!!" She said. Great!! It was better in jail..

Sadie and Luke set off to follow the masked girl who was awake and ready to escape. While Luke and Sadie set off, Damien,Alexia and I were guarding with other guards. "Do you think they will be fine?" I asked Lexi. "Don't worry about Sadie and Luke...they are one of the best agents I have!!" She gave ma a reassuring smile. I nodded.

5 hours!! 5 bloody hours and nothing at all has happened. I ran I've to Damien who was guarding the main entrance. "I don't think there is going to be-" before I could finish, a boom sound could be heard. That could mean only one thing. There was smoke in the back side, where Alexia was. Damien and I ran there. People running here and there. But Alexia was nowhere to be seen. "There she is!!" Damien said as he pointed towards her. "Who is with her??" I asked. We both ran towards Alexia. She was holding a masked person by the neck and pointing a gun towards them. "Tell me who you are!! Now!!" She said. "Lexi!!!" I called out. Lexi looked up. "This guy caused it.." She said. "Do me a favour An, and punch this person." She said. I hesitated. "Instead we can get some information from them." Damien interrupted. "Maybe he is right.." I said. "But-" I punched the person right in the face. "That felt good!!" I said as Damien took the guy with him to lock him up.
I high fived Lexi and went back to my place while she extinguished the fire.

After a few hours of guarding and assuring that everyone was safe, we went back to take rest. "Lexi!!! An!!!" I looked back to see Luke and Sadie standing there with their guns pointed towards us. After seeing our faces, he lowered his gun. I ran towards him and gave him a tight hug. "Thank god you're OK!!!" I said as we pulled away. I then went to Sadie and did the same. "Any information??" Alexia asked once the hugging session was over.
"Yes...the girl is from the G.W.A...."
"G.W.A??" I asked.
