"Ahhh."

This sweet soft taste. This faint yet strong aroma.

"Mmm. Just the right tea for my afternoon."

I rested my head slowly on my rocking chair and stared blankly at the quiet azure sky. Just the sight of the white, fluffy clouds refreshed my eyes. Just the voice of the little singing birds cured my noise-dosed ears. Just the soft yet penetrating rays of the sun warmed my skin. Just the small shade of the simple nipa house cooled my head off.

"What a pleasant day this is."

This afternoon might be a miracle. This afternoon might be a gift. This afternoon might be the most comfortable time of the year and yet something felt wrong. Something felt missing.

I grabbed my teacup and attempted to take a sip. There was none left.

I went to the kitchen, returned the cup and grabbed some bread to eat.

As I went back, I stumbled on some photo album. I saw some familiar faces on the photos.

"So that's what's missing."

I found myself on the photo laughing together with some people.

They were my friends. We laughed and laughed all day long like we have no worries.

We went everywhere and anywhere we wanted. Wherever we are is my home because my home is the most comfortable place in my life- with them.

I returned the album and went back outside but this time, the light was too bright. I was blinded.

Everything was white.

I blinked.

Everything has changed. My body was wrapped in white cloth- rendering my movement. I saw my old friends beside me in the same condition as me.

One of them came close to my ears and whispered.

"You hallucinated again, didn't you? Welcome home bud."
