A feminine gasp wakes me from my sleep. I see Alice staring at my red, blistered skin.
"What did you do, Izzy?" Alice asks painfully.
"I blame myself for you guys leaving and I scolded my skin last night." I reply.
Alice blinks the venom back and she helps me out of bed. "We are going to get Bella and go to Italy."
"Why?" I ask.
"I saw a vision of Bella jumping off a cliff, Edward thinks she is dead. He wants to die too." Alice exclaims as she throws me some tights and a scarlet tunic.
I get dressed slowly, trying my best to avoid hurting too bad to move. Alice Leo's me into Carlisle's car and she speeds towards Bella's house. I sit in the car while she storms up the side walk.
We are now headed towards an airport.
"Izzy, I'm sorry." Bella says.
"For what?" I ask, honestly confused.
"For taking your family." She says. "I didn't mean to, I'm sorry."
"It's okay." I reply. "Everybody leaves. Jasper broke his promise."
"Jasper didn't leave because of Bella." Alice says. "I made him, because f the slip up."
I gasp. "Is he coming back too?"
"We all are, when we return from Italy." Alice replies.
We make it to the airport and we board the plane. I am sitting between Alice and Bella. Alice keeps looking at my body with sad eyes. I ignore the sadness in her eyes and I stare ahead.
The plane lands in Florence. Alice has just stolen a yellow Lamborghini and we are speeding towards the Volturi castle. We finally make it and see they are having a 'Day of the Dead' festival, everyone is on read cloaks.
"He is gonna go out into the sun at noon." Alice mutters. "Aro turned down Edward."
Alice makes Bella get out and run. She drives a little ways before parking. We wait for an hour exactly and we get our. Alice wraps a floral scarf around her neck and she drags me along with her.
The castle yard is full of men and women in red cloaks. Alice and I burst into a pair of large metal doors.
"Boys, there's a festival going on." Alice chirps. "Take it easy."
We hear heals clicking on the stone floor and we all look the way. A girl, my age, with blonde hair and red eyes is walking our way. Felix, one of the men., throws Edward a red robe.
"Aro would like to see you." The girl says.
We follow behind the clicking heels and she opens another set of large metal doors. There are three thrones on a staged area. The blonde stands next to a brunette guy who looks like her brother.
When I enter the room, the brown haired boy stiffens and his eyes snap towards me. His red eyes burning into my green eyes. Edward smirks and he hands Aro his hand. Aro eyes the Alec "Alex, take the human out, then blonde." Aro says. "She won't wanna see this."
"Hey, I'm Alec." The boy says as he approaches me.
"I'm Izzy Cullen." I reply.
He nods stiffly. "Want a tour of the castle?"
"Sure, let's go." I reply.
Alec places a hand on the bend of my back and he leads me out. He looks pained, like Edward did when he first saw Bella.
I trip over a stone sticking up and I scrape my knee, I begin to bleed. I gasp as I realize that Alec is a human feeding vampire.
"Come, I have bandages in my room, my love." He says stiffly.
Alec lifts me up carefully and he holds his breath as he carries me through the castle. He lays me on his bed when we enter his room, which happens to be huge. He wraps my knee up and he sees some blisters.
"Can I see?" He asks.
I nod hesitantly and I take my clothes off, knowing I am his blood singer and mate. He hisses and he gently touches my sensitive skin. I bite my lip as a tear falls.
"You won't hurt again, darling." He whispers as he hugs me naked body into him.

Alec allows me to sleep in his bed that night. Jane, his sister, has clothes for me to wear back to Washington tomorrow. She seems to approve me.
Alice has finally left me for Bella. I figured she would, they all bus Jasper have. At least I have Alec if Jasper leaves me for Bella.
"Izzy.... How did you meet the Cullen's?" Alec asks me.
"They adopted me from an orphanage in Seattle." I reply.
"I hear they all betrayed you?" Alec says.
"Yes, they did." I reply. "Jasper didn't, but he will soon enough."
"I have a suggestion." Alec says.
"Give it to me." I say.
"You are my blood singer and my mate, how about you live here, in Italy with us."
"I'd love that if Aro is okay with it." I reply.
"We will speak with Aro when the morning comes. Get some rest, I'll go inform Alice, Bella, and Edward." Alec says before he walks out.
I wrap myself in Alec's blanket and I hiss at the pain of my blisters.
"No sleep. Cold bath." Jane demands, barging into the room.
I don't argue and I get out of bed. I take my clothes of again. Jane flinches at my body and she walks me into Alec's personal bathroom. She runs cold water and she helps me in. My blisters sting badly at first before they ease.
"I will go get an ointment, I'll be back." Jane says before hurrying out.
Jane puts them ointment on me and she helps me into a night gown that doesn't cling to my body. She helps me into bed and she leaves.
I cuddle under the blankets on Alec's bed. I drift off to sleep when the pain dies down.
