Two sets of footsteps grew louder and louder. The dark, grey walls were slick with condensation, making Hell smell more muggy than it already was. Leon thought the humidity always brought out the stench of sulfur. Even though he was a demon and carried around the odor himself, it was quite putrid. Still, sometimes he could ignore it for a small amount of time. He didn't particularly like being in Hell. The smell was too strong, it was too loud with the screams of the tortured, and it generally wasn't clean.

When he had first became a demon, he had to stay here doing busy work for Crowley. He had hated every moment of it. He hated other demons and he hated Crowley. When he was assigned work in the field he had come to enjoy it, the only form of emotion that crept into his black, tainted soul besides hatred. He was always by himself spying on whatever he was told to. Usually it was just barren areas with little to no activity. He knew other demons complained about this, but he didn't mind it. He was alone with himself, and No one was around to annoy him. That is, until Crowley assigned Hayes to accompany him. He could hardly keep from rolling his eyes when Crowley told him he would be working with a partner. Hayes was notorious for being dense and just generally dull.

Leon ignored him the whole time they worked together. Hayes finally, after a few days, caught on and mostly left him alone to his own work. That is, until they spotted the Winchesters. Leon never thought he would ever get a glimpse of the group. They were a hot topic in Hell. Leon had a small glimmer of respect for them, for how long they have survived after everything they've been through. He still hated them, but he would also hate running into them. He figured he could never let them know that he was the demon that reported Y/N to Crowley. Y/N. Everyone just assumed she was dead, and no one really thought anything of it. They were just glad there was one less Winchester, but now it all makes sense. She had foolishly gotten impregnated by that pain in the ass angel. She has been hiding ever since, because well, anyone would love to get their hands on a nephilim. Leon knew that Crowley would reward him for his findings.

The two demons strode into the wide arch, leading into Crowley's den. Leon noticed how elegant this part of Hell was compared to the rest of it. Even when Crowley was a crossroads demon, he always lavished himself in decadence. He had won the lottery becoming the king of Hell. The king was sitting in his thrown, a glass of whiskey to his lips. He brought it down and set it on a silver platter next to his chair. He leaned back, looking at Leon and Hayes expectantly and a little annoyed.

"We have news on Y/N," Leon began, cutting right to it.

"Ah," Crowley mused thoughtfully,"I was wondering when she would show up. What have you got for me, boys?"

The demons glanced at each other and Leon cleared his throat,"we spotted them pulling into a restaurant. All four of them were there, but we both noticed something off about Y/N,"

He furrowed his brows and grabbed the glass again,"off?"

Hayes quipped up nervously,"she got knocked up,"

Leon glared at the demon's moronic vernacular. He wished he could sew his mouth shut.

"She is pregnant," Crowley stated puzzled,"by the angel?"

"Yes.. we have reason to believe so," Leon replied carefully.

Crowley glowered at the demon. He sighed and continued,"as you boys know, there has been a.. diminish in my demon population. Are you aware of the reason?"

The demons looked at him emotionlessly. They both had no idea as to why the demon population has been getting lower and lower.

"You see, the boys upstairs have been trying to get rid of Hell completely. They have been killing off my demons and I've yet to find a solution. . .well, until now,"he explained, eyeing them with a knowing glint in his eye. He slowly got off his chair, walking carefully toward the two. They resisted the urge to step away.

"If Y/N is pregnant with a nephilim, then it is my key. I can use the child to make Heaven back off," he elucidated with a smirk,"and if you happen to be under the right assumption that the child is a nephilim, your findings will not go unrewarded."

The demons looked at their king in determination. Crowley would probably assign them as one of his best, which meant they could pretty much roam wherever they wanted. This was especially in the likes of Leon, who wouldn't hardly have to deal with Hell again. Or demons. Or humans.

Crowley turned his back towards them, a scheming smirk planted on his face,"so, this is the last time I will ask and I want you to be completely sure of your answer."

"What is it, Mr. Crowley?" Hayes inquired eagerly.

He turned back around and gave the demons a hard stare,"are you absolutely positive that she is pregnant with a nephilim? Because if she isn't, our efforts in capturing her will be for nothing."

The demons glanced wearily at each other. They didn't exactly know for sure if she was having a nephilim child. But Leon figured that it was highly likely. Y/N and the angel have been together for a long time and surely she wouldn't get impregnated by anyone except for him.

"Yes. We are sure of it," Leon replied confidently.

The king narrowed his eyes,"very well. If you're sure," he turned back around and made his way to his chair,"we wouldn't want Winchester's on our asses for no reason, right?"

"Uhh, right sir," Hayes answered uneasily.

Crowley took his sweet time perching on his thrown and pouring himself another glass of whiskey,"now boys, I want you to keep close tabs on Y/N for me. When she's about to pop we'll make our move."

"Yes sir. We are going to need a spell that will cloak our presence from the angel," Leon requested dutifully.

"Of course. Get anything you need. Oh, and keep this little secret between us. We don't want the word to get out," Crowley added and dismissed the pair with the swipe of his hand.

Leon strode out of Hell with a new determination.

Yes, I know this chapter was really short, but I just wanted to push this part out as quickly as I could. I am so excited that we're finally getting into the plot! :3 like or comment if you enjoy this story so far!!!
