This short story is written as an entry into a fantasy short story contest. I had such a wonderful time coming up with a story that I hoped was a little different, putting a new twist on an old story. Meghann and Seamus are two characters that I would not be opposed to writing into a longer story in the future. I've thought also of writing Meghann's parents' story, with Destan her father as the main character. I would love to have reader feedback to know if this is something you would like to see.
