[Oscar's P.O.V]

"He pisses me off sometimes." Austin said.

I frowned, "I thought that he was your friend. How does he piss you off?"

"He just-ugh-," He said getting frustrated, rushing with his words. "He wants to know everything. He embeds himself into every issue I have and just makes it twice as bad!"

"Hey, shush. Calm down. Forget about it, don't get aggravated."

He looked over at me, and I mean he really looked at me. His mesmerising blue irises held my attention I couldn't look away. Not that I wanted to though. He held me captive in his metaphorical prison. And I never wanted to leave.

The sound of the bell was what bought us back to reality. I raised my eyebrows at him. He raised his eyebrows back at me. Cheeky bastard.

"C'mon, man." I laughed, "You gotta give me a break. Hold it in."

I doubt he knew what I was on about but he nodded anyway, taking my hand in his, pulling me from under the bleachers.

As we stumbled across the grass, laughing and pushing each other, we were both unaware of Ed on the opposite side of the field, watching us in curiosity, eyebrows furrowed.

The next class was very boring. Worse than geography. That was for the simple fact that we had history. I quite liked learning, well no shit Sherlock I'm a nerd for god sake, but history was just pushing the barrier. I still had good grades in the subject. Grades could wait though, I was Austin James' friend and I was not going to ignore that fact. This is why we were sat at the very back of the class listening to Panic! At the Disco, giggling as we pulled stupid, silly faces at each other.

"I...c-can't...breathe." I said, gasping for air as he rolled his eyes back, lolled his tongue out of his mouth, and pushed his nose up.

[Austin's P.O.V]

Oscar was giggling at all of my funny faces and I had never heard a laugh as cute as his. He scrunched his nose up as he laughed, trying to catch his breath. I felt really free around Oscar; he bought out the best in me. Oh-kay, that was cheesy. I think I need a distraction from how gooey he made me.

Which was just as well because Ed had just entered the room, twenty minutes late, leaving the door open. Oscar could sense my instant mood change.

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damned door?" He sang under his breath, sending me into my own fit of giggles. Yes, giggles. Me. A jock. Ha. In all of our commotion, we didn't notice the looks the whole of the class sent us, much less the look Ed shot.

It turns out that Ed never did 'catch me later'. I tried thinking about why but I mean c'mon, with Oscar by my side, I wasn't going to focus my attention on anything other than him.

As it stands, Oscar and I (see my improved grammar, eh, eh?) were walking home from our last lesson, English. There was a silence between us, but as ever, it was comfortable, not awkward. Well it was silent until he broke it that is.

"Hey, um, Austin?"

"Yeah?" I answered.

"You know how it's Friday and all." He sounded nervous.

"Yeah, I'm aware of that. It's been Friday all day." I said, trying to lighten the mood, it worked as he let out a breathy chuckle.

"Well, I mean, can you- would you-" He paused. "Do you want to stay over at my house for the weekend?"
