Imani’s POV
It’s already the 13th day of 2012...And it looks like Manisha and Paris have already found out about their mothers...And now that just leaves me...I’m the only one left who doesn’t even know who her mother yet...But I do hope I find out one day...And I hope that she “won’t” turn out to be “dead” and will turn out to luckily just be “alive!”
*Imani goes into her dad’s room to look for something, and as she’s searching...She stumbles across the most “shocking” thing of her life..........
Imani: DADDYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
*Issa comes running up the stairs and bashing into his room*
Issa: Imani, what’s wrong?
Imani: *Beginning to cry* Who....Is this? *she holds up a picture of Breaunna lying in her coffin at her funeral, having the feeling that she could be her mother*
Issa: Ur-ur-urm........*unable to speak*
Imani: *in tears* Is this my mother?
Issa: .............*still unable to speak*
Imani: *in tears* ANSWER ME, FATHER!...IS THIS *walks up to him and shows the picture close to his face* MY MOTHER!
Issa: *begins to cry* Yes Imani...That is your mother...She’s been dead for the past 16 years...She was shot by an unknown gang, who the police have failed to look for...Along with Manisha and Paris’s mothers...Yes...They were all friends...The 3 of them...And before they died...They were also a well known group called the OMG girlz, which they started back in 1992...........They loved yall very much....Even though they would only get to be with yall for a short amount of time...At least they still got the chance to some things with yall before they passed away...I’m really sorry for keeping this secret from you, for 16 years...I’m so sorry babygirl
(Imani runs into her father’s arms, crying hysterically at what she just heard, and he lays his head on shoulder, crying with her)

I know this chapter is kinda short, but I just wanted it be about just Imani and Issa for this one, so yeah, but I promise the next chapter will be exciting, and sorry if I took 1 or 2 months to update on this, its cuz I’ve been having so much on plate in the past 4 months that’s it’s been getting to me so yeah, but I’m cool, and it’s the Christmas holidays now, so Ima be updating alot!
