I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I got up and walked around. Ugh, I don't have my coffee machine out. I didn't bother changing into my clothes. I went into my clothes box pulled out a medium blue sweater. I got in my car and was about to drive off, then I realized that someone was staring at me from the second floor of my neighbors house.
Strange. I got out of my car and walked over to the house-ignoring the fact that I looked like an ogre. I rang the doorbell.
It took a while, but somebody finally answered the door. He had black hair, middle dyed red. He was short, just a little taller than me though. He was wearing a red flannel and blue jeans.
"Hi." He said flatly, shifting his gaze to my house. He mumbled something under his breath, but I couldn't lent understand. "Huh?" I questioned. "Nothing!" He said quickly and startled by my sudden question. "Uh, come in!" He said backing up from the door and motioning me to come in. "O-ok." I said kind of worried this guy was going to kill me. He lead me to his living room. "Sit." He demanded. I did as I was told. "Are you hungry or anything?" He asked. "Yeah, I just woke up. Coffee, please?" I replied staring at his hair. "M-kay. Be right back... oh! And don't," his face got closer to mine, "go," closer, "in," closer, "any," closer, "other," even closer, "rooms! Ya got that." He stared at me smile gone. "Y-yeah..." I swallowed my spit as he walked off. Lord, what a weirdo...
I looked around and noticed a blocked off door. It had two wooden planks screwed in it and a lock.
Even stranger
What was this guy up to?
My train of thought was disturbed by a deep voice. "Coffee's ready!" He sounded a lot more enthusiastic than he did a couple of minutes ago. He walked in the room with two steaming mugs of coffee. He sat one right in front of me.
What if he drugged it? Don't be silly... he might be a little strange- or have... issues- but that doesn't mean he would try to kill you...
"So what's your name?" He took a sip of his coffee. "Jack, you?" "Mark." He simply replied. "Where ya from?" He asked taking another sip. "Ireland." I replied. "That's far." He said now looking at me.
"Uh, may I use the bathroom?" Mark's beaming smile faded. "Uh..."
Mark's POV
Don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious!
Jack's POV
"N-Y-N... yes." He took a while to answer. "Ok where is it."
"I'll show you." He put his coffee down and escorted me to the bathroom. "Uh, no! Let's not take the stairs." He looked at me funny. "Why?" I asked not thinking. "Let's take the elevator. Spare you the walking... and also this is my house my rules." He smiled. "You have an elevator!?" I was surprised. This house is impressive, but an elevator!?
"Yeah."
When I got out of the bathroom he was standing at the door to the next room on his phone. This guy was starting to creep me out. "Thanks for having me, but I gotta go." I said shyly, scared he would do something. "Ok, I'll walk you to the front door.
Just like that I was out the door walking back to my place.
