It was perhaps one of Quinn's more redeeming qualities that she was so quick to accept the fact that her teacher was willing to dress up as a woman for her sake, because the more Cobalt thought about it, the more ludicrous the entire plan seemed.

"This is mortifying..." the pseudo-Succubus muttered miserably, shuffling after Quinn as she gleefully darted around the Brimstone Arcade.

"Quit worrying.  Nobody even knows who you are," the Imp replied, hunkering down by a crane game as she pulled a switchblade from her pocket.

"Regardless, it's embarrassing.  Imagine if I brought you to my mother and said that I was dating you."

She laughed as she began to pry the access panel off the machine.

"First off, this was your idea.  Second, if we're truly reversing the roles here, then you'd have me dress up as a fella, right?"

"It would be a lot simpler if that were the case.  Merely a case of lowering your voice, I'd imagine."

"Heh, yeah.  Besides, been meaning to ask..."

Pulling the panel off the crane game, Quinn quickly looked around for any patrolling security guards before she began to shovel coins into her pockets.

"How come you're still a virgin?"

Cobalt nearly choked on his tongue, earning him a series of disturbed glares from the other patrons of the arcade.

"Wh- What makes you think that-?!"

Shrugging her shoulders, the Imp began to screw the panel back on the with edge of her blade.

"Kara's been talking.  Says you don't even wank or nothing.  Gotta say, not what I was expecting from an Incubus," Quinn interjected casually, her bulging pockets jingling with every step she took.

"I- I'm just not into that sort of stuff!"

She crooked an eyebrow.

"Really?  Huh."

"What makes you so interested in my personal preferences, anyway?!"

"Got a couple of bets riding on who you'll end up riding.  Guess that's fifty quid down the drain, then..."

"Why would you bet on something like that?!"

"The odds were looking good for you doing the deed with Kara, that's why!  I was fixing to make a killing!"

Gritting his teeth, Cobalt shook his head and tried to unhear what Quinn had just said.  Honestly, he knew that B.I.D.'s students occasionally partook in some unsavoury activities in their spare time, and it didn't surprise him to hear that some had taken up gambling.  But placing bets on something like... that?!

"Still, if you ever need me to wingman for you, I'm right here.  Call it a favour for doing this for me," the Imp quipped with a sly grin.

"Speaking of the current situation, when will we be meeting your parents?  I feel like you've dragged me all over town these past few hours."

"Why, you not having fun?"

That wasn't strictly true.  In fact, having spent the day with Quinn, Cobalt had begun to realise how little of his spare time he had spent on simply enjoying himself.  The first thing they did was grab a bite to eat at a downtown dive, where the Imp instructed him to spill their drinks all over one of the waitresses.  While he kept the diner distracted, she set about slipping her fingers into peoples wallets, and though Cobalt abhorred the idea of thievery, she never took more than a few bank notes apiece, and even offered to split the money with him.
