Chapter 2

Amethyst POV..

I'm running...
I feel tree branches hit my sides and legs I trip and scream as I feel it coming closer.
His coming I feel it I feel him near me as I start to run again. I'm suddenly knocked to the ground. I scream as I look up to see him.. his gorgeous but he has the most intimidating look. I'm scared he reaches to grab me and I scream...

I wake up screaming. It's like this every night I have the same dream it just starts to get more and more in depth. I am sweating it's 3:47 am. It happens nearly the same time every morning I'm woken up by this dream. Who is he and why and I having these nightmares. I lay there thinking until I fall asleep. I wake up with my alarm blaring in my ear again. I throw it this time I make my way to the shower I notice a handprint bruise on my arm. Bizarre. I shower and get ready. I where a Bodley skinny jeans and my black vans. I leave my hair down so no one will notice me besides Aiden and Blair.

I make it to school in time and I am in first I am over here doing art when I get a text. I look and take a sneak peek and see it's from Blair
B: "Hey what are you doing Tonight?"
Me: "nothing why?"
B:" we are having a party at my house you should come."
Me: " I don't know. I'll see honestly I never do parties."
B: " please! Aiden will be there you will have us. :( if you don't come I will be sad"
Me: "fine I'll come"

I put my phone in my bag and I got back to painting. I sit there and think I deserve to go out I never do it wouldn't hurt. I'm almost done painting him.... the man from my nightmare. His tall really tall and he has this perfect jaw line he has long brown curly hair and his eyes are the kind you want to get lost in. I'm snapped out of my daydream of him to go to English...

Well it's lunch time now and I'm looking around to see Blair and Aiden. I spot them over at a table with some others. I walk with my head down and as I make it to the table Blair grabs me and makes me sit next to her. I'm shy so everyone is looking at me and I'm just getting nerves and picking at my nail polish. "Everyone this is Amethyst. She is going to sit with us." Says Blair
"Hi I'm Charlie" says a boy with his hands intertwined with another boys.
"I'm Ashton" say the other boy they look as if they are a couple so I look at them and nod.
"They are ma-together. They're dating" says a girl by the name of Emma. I look at my tray of food and pick at it not really feeling good.
"So where are you from?" Asks Charlie smiling at me.
"New York." I say as I'm still looking at my tray.
"Oh my god! New York I think that is amazing I wish I could see it I bet it's fabulous!" He practically screams. Ashton laugh it a deep laugh and when he speaks I sort of jump it's so deep. " Charlie babe calm down. We can visit one day for a vacation" he said to the now blushing Charlie. I smile at them they are cute. "So how do you like it here so far?" Ask Emma. I just shrug "it's good" I go dump my tray and I happen to run into Brittany. "Ugh fucking freak! Watch it!" I run to the bathroom to escape her and her crowd. I lock myself in the bathroom and close my eyes. I realize my mistake as Blair and Emma is beating on the stall door. "Come on Amethyst! She is just a skank. If it makes you feel better Blair beat her up last year. Ever since she basically runs from her." Says Emma
I giggle as I hear that tiny Blair beating the shit out of big Brittany. "I heard that giggle now come out!" Screams Blair. I come out and they smile at me and I smile back. "Can we go to history now or we are going to be late." I say to them.

It's the end of the day and I'm walking to the car as I remember I have that party to go to. I start to drive as I make my way on the never ending journey home I listen to ' 10,000 emerald pools by børns' I hum to the song as I drive.

I pull up to the house and it's not ugly it's got this dead looking tree in my yard it's two story's it's grey and white. I walk in and mom is still at work so I make a note telling her I'm going to be at Blairs this weekend. I run up the stairs to hop in the shower sing as I shower. I'm good at singing I'm just to shy to sing in front of people.
I hop out and I blow dry my hair it falls in waves I put on some mascara to brighten up my violet eyes and chap stick I go to my room and look in my closet I end up picking a outfit. I'm wearing a black tank and my green army jacket with black skinny jeans innate on my red converse high tops and I'm wearing the necklace my gran gave me before she died. It's a amethyst stone with my initials and the initials of D.J.B. I don't know who's those initials are but I love it. I walk out the door locking it. I get in my car and start to Blair's house.

I get there 30 minutes late. I get out seeing millions of people there. I try to find my way to Blair. I see her and Aiden dancing and I blush as I see how they are dancing. I look for a drink and I find where the kitchen is I end up finally talking to Blair and the others.
"Hey Amethyst you mind if I borrow your jacket it would go with this shirt I want to wear tomorrow. We have to go see some friends." Asks Blair. "Sure I don't mind just give it back when ever."

I ended up going to sleep in the guest room at Blair's house.

Blair POV

I wake up at 7:00 am for that stupid meeting with Darius. He wants to go over some pack things with Aiden and I want to go. I get a shower and change I'm wearing this cute lacy tank top with amethyst green jacket skinny jeans and some brown knee boots. I go check on her and leave her a note about going to "see some friends". As I make my way to my car I think about how cute it is she loves that book about Darius.

I met Aiden at the pack house. I go in with him to Darius's office I sit there waiting and I hear him come in "Hey Darius" I say. The next thing I notice is Darius has me against the wall. "Why do you smell as if you are my mate?" Asks Darius. I look at him and slaps his arms away. "I don't know they only new thing I'm wearing is this jacket." I say kinda scared. "Who jacket is this it smells of my mate?" Darius is looking at me as if I hold the key to promise land and his about to take it and dive in head first. "It's Amethyst jacket she is this shy new girl at school." He sat down and thought a second. He looks 18 I don't know why he never attended school with us I feel like it was the alpha duties that stopped him. "How will I get to her? She's human?" I looked at him. "You could always attend school Darius. Yes she is human." I say smiling. He sighs and starts you pace again. "What if she gets scared and runs from me? Or worse rejects me?"

I feel pity for him. "You will have to let her get use to you and you will have to let her adjust to the situation. Enroll in school I know her schedule just be patient" I know as I say that he is not patient. He has finally found his mate after 145 years. We have are meeting and I end up leaving her jacket there for him.

I get to the house and notice Amethyst is gone I assume she went home. I call her. After are conversation I realized it was late and I need sleep so I went a took a shower. 3 more days. I'll find my mate. I can't wait I hope his handsome and kind. I fall asleep thinking about my mate.
