Chapter 3- Love at first blurr sight

I'm at our school cafeteria, eating lunch. I'm all alone in this green, ceramic table. Ashley and her gang of pricetag girls have been ruining my first weeks here in Northwestern. Thank God, that they let me have time for myself alone in this table.

At the other side of the table sits Brittney Cross, one of the popular girls in school. She's at my same class and a cheerleader. Like the others, she's a total snake in my life. She kept on tagging with Ashley in putting me into trouble.

You know, like stealing my homework.

I was in the middle of eating my carbo diet salad when a guy stand infront of me. He was carrying a lunch tray. "Does somebody sits here already?" he asked politely. 

"Uh-yeah, I mean no! Really, no!" I stammered like an idiot.

"Thanks" He said as he sit down. As I looked at his face, I almost have a heart attack. He have gorgeous green eyes and a wavy, brown hair. His arm were muscular, but in the right size. Now all of the pricetags, including Brittney and ashley were all wide eyes. I felt like plucking some chopsticks at their eyes.

" Anyway" he begin " I'm Adamson Miller. I'm at the same class of yours too."

"Oh." I squeaked. "I'm Liane Erra."

"Have you already chosen an extra-curricular activity?" he asked.

"Not yet. I guess." I said, face down.

"Thats good." he grinned." we need members for our guild."

"Is that some kind of faternity?"

"Not really. Its just some kind of an association of people by a common interest or goal."

"And what is the goal of that club?" I said, pretending to understand.

"Theater." he said shortly. "We need more people for our play."

I nodded as I type at my phone's notes. "If you need mor information about this thing, just drop by the office. I'm available there at exactly 2:45."

"Ok"

"Anyway, I have to be going. Here's the official number of our guild. Actually it's also my phone number." He added as he gave his number on a piece of paper.

"Ok. Thanks."

He standed up and took his empty lunch tray. I sighed.

"Oh, I forgot" He smiled at me." Nice to meet you Liane."

He walked away and disappeared through the crowd of people. I kissed the piece of paper and put it at my pocket. Suddenly someone tooked my eyeglasses(the new one). I kneeled at the floor and swipped the floor.

Crash!

Splinters touched my skin as a familiar laughter was heard.

Ashley and Brittney!

"Lets leave the blind lady" Ashley snickered.

"Yeah, sure lets go!" Brittney chripped as they both walked away laughing.

No one dared to help me. All the students walked away.

I was alone at the cafeteria. The sound of the aircon gave me goosebumps. Tears streamed through my eyes. Until a hand landed on my shoulder.

" Hey, you ok?"

It's ADAM! I wasn't able to say a word.

"Have time to pass by?" I said glumly.

"Actually, I forgot my phone at your table." he said. "You got lots of splinters at your arm."

I nodded as I pointed at my brand new, crushed glasses.

"Can you see anything with out it?"

"Yeah, blurr."

He assisted me to the clinic. The nurse taken of the splinters ang wrapped my arm lots of bandages. The nurse told me to be careful, and be mature blah blah blah. I turned around and Adam was gone. I manage to smile as I walked to my next class.

Now that was love at first BLURR sight.......................
