Chap 11 : Upgraded Partner

Eun Ji P.O.V

" Who was the guy that sent you home last night? You both look good together...I think you can invite him here so that i could help an eye to decide whether he is good for you..." My mum was blabbering again.

I ignored her and continued having my breakfast while reading newspaper. " Mum, dont think too much, he is just a friend of mine, a NORMAL friend."

I headed to school after bidding farewell to my parents. In the bus, I was thinking about the kiss yesterday. His lips... Are so soft and warm... I hold my lips and smiled to myself.

" Good morning... What's wrong with you Eun-ah?" D.O appeared out of no where and sat beside me.

I shake myself into reality and gave him a smile. " Why aren't you driving your car?" I asked him out of curiosity.

" Ohh... It is because... Erm.. I missed you already..." He said while he ruffled my hair gently.

D.O P.O.V

" Ohh... It is because... Erm.. I missed you already..." I told her the truth but she seemed to take it as a joke.

" Aww I missed you too haha" she replied while pouting her lips. * Eun-ah never fails to make my heart flutters*

We alighted from the bus and walked together towards our school. " I heard that you went out with Kai yesterday..." I hate it when Kai boasted about how they enjoyed the date.

" Yep, we went to the park and...." She told me the details about the date, without noticing that I was already green with envy.

We saw Chanyeol leaning against the door when we almost reach our class. It looked like he had already waited long for her there.

I think he was here bacause he had heard about the date. " Annyeong my princess" * Bwoa?! What is he calling my Eun Ji?*

" Did you feed tiny Yeollie well? Do you miss me? " * miss your head!*

Chanyeol P. O.V

I saw Eun Ji coming. I greeted her from afar. " Annyeong my princess, did you feed tiny yeollie well? Do you miss me?" I looked at her with puppy eyes.

She nodded and laughed. I hold her arms and pulled her to our seat, away from D.O! I saw them talking happily since they enter the school gate.

"Are you free this afternoon? Why dont we hang out again and have some fun?" I asked her out for a second date. My heart was pounding as I was afraid that she would decline.

Just then, Kai kicked her chair and she turned her head around.

" Dont go out with another man without my permission." *What? Who does he think he is?*

" Sorry Yeollie oppa, I think I have to help my mum to do some house chores these few days. Maybe next time?" She smiled and I nodded.

I could see from the side of my eye that Kai is kicking her chair again. She looked back frustratedly and glared at him.

I acted like I dont care but jealousy started to fill me. When did my princess become so close to Kai?

Kai P.O.V

" Sorry Yeollie oppa, I think I have to help my mum to do some house chores these few days. Maybe next time?"

I kicked her chair again. She glared at me but I just smirked. " Yah Kai oppa what do you want?" How I wanted to tell her that all I want is her but I am afraid that I will scare her away.

" Please keep quiet, you both are too noisy." I found another excuse. The truth is I am jealous! I feel uneasy whenever she is talking to another man. I feel unhappy when she called another man oppa other than me, but i keep that in my heart.

*Jagiya, no one can steal you away from me* I looked at her who was paying attention on the lesson, her concentrating face look so attractive. I cant hold myself from smiling stupidly.

" Hey class, now you will have to carry out this project in groups. Two person in each group. And dont worry, I have already divided you all according to the name list. Now listen carefully..."

"... Chanyeol with Sandara..."

"... D.O with ...."

"... Kai with Eun Ji..." I smiled widely upon hearing this.

Eun Ji P.O.V

*Bwoa?! Me and Kai?* Ohh just because we have the same surname. Kim and Kim. I looked at his smile and thought of the kiss yesterday. My cheek flushed scarlet.

He kicked my chair again. " Hey so we are going to be in a group heh? How lucky am I..."

Suddenly he raised his hands. " Teacher, can I and Chanyeol switch places so that it is easier for me and Eun Ji to discuss about the project?"

My jaw dropped. He is going to sit with me? I looked at Chanyeol who is a bit dissapointed when the teacher approved.

Kai P.O.V

I saw Chanyeol's fist clenching when I requested to switch places with him. He stood up unwillingly and gave me a dead glare before heading to my old place.

" Hey Eun-ah, we are closer to each other now..." She blushed.

I took down the notes regarding the project since I was looking forward to be doing it with Eun Ji.

" Kringgg" the bell rang. When I was trying to open my mouth, D.O came by. " Hey Eun Ji, how about I walk you home today? It looks like it is going to rain."

Eun Ji left with him after bidding goodbye to me. How could she leave me alone!

Anyway, I am glad that my identity has upgraded. Not best friend but partners! We can spend more time together kekeke

D.O P.O.V

" Eun-ah, actually I wish to be your partner. But teacher doesnt allow me to change." I looked down, feeling sad.

" It is okay oppa, you are still my best friend right? Nothing can affect our friendship." She gave me a warm smile and pulled me nearer to her when we walked under the umbrella.

" Oppa you are getting wet. Come nearer..." My heartbeat went wild. We are so close that I can feel her breathing.

When we reached her doorstep, as she was going in, i cant hold myself anymore. I turned her around to face me and gave her a quick peck on her cheeks.

A kiss in the rain was so sweet. She looked so cute when she was blushing. I hugged her tightly under the umbrella and whispered, " Goodbye Eun-ah" and left the house.

Eun Ji P.O.V

I was still surprised eventhough he had left. I was on my bed. I hold my right cheek and smiled to the owl toy.

* Does he has feeling towards me? And how about me?* I dont know.

Suddenly, " beep beep..."

My princess, dont let tiny yeollie starve huh? I miss you <3

I stared at the <3 at the end of the message for a really long time.
