Chap 24: Party Time

EUN JI P.O.V

I'm running through darkness....I can't see a thing...all around me there are loud noises like bomb explosions.

Helpless....Weak...Scared.....thats what I'm feeling now...

Out of the blue a horrofying image appeared in front of me. I screamed....

" Ahhh!!! " I opened my eyes and I realised it's just a nightmare. My heart was beating vigorously and my forehead was covered in sweat. A storm was raging. Thunder and lightning filled the sky.

I remembered the horror movie I watched just now. It sends a shiver down my spine...I shouldn't have watched that! Aish!!

I got up and turned on my lights. It's too dark in here, just like...just like...my dream. I don't think I can fall asleep again. What if I went back into that nightmare?!

However, I tried to go back to sleep. I curled up in bed but the image in my dream keep appearing in my mind. I covered my ears to keep out the booming sounds of thunder.

Suddenly, Kai rushed into my room through the bathroom door. He saw me curling up in bed cowering in fear.

He rushed to my side. " Jagiya, I heard you screamed. What happened? Did you have a nightmare? " He asked me caringly... I've never heard him with such a caring voice before. I nodded in response.

" Kai oppa, can you perhaps stay with me tonight? I'm scared to be alone. " I'm hoping so badly that someone would stay by my side tonight. I don't wanna be alone. To my surprise, Kai agreed to me. He smiled at me reassuringly. " Don't worry, I won't leave you. "

I slowly closed my eyes and tried to get back to sleep. I held his hands tight so I know he's by my side. I felt his hands patting my back, like he's telling me everything is going to be fine, don't worry. After a while, I fall asleep.

Morning came....

The sun rays were shining in through the window.

I opened my eyes and slowly widened my eyes until the fullest.

Kai's face was just an inch away from mine!! His eyes....his jawline....his sexy lips which kisssed me before...I blushed.

I remembered what happened in the middle of the night. He must be too tired and accidentally fell asleep on my bed.

I slowly crept down from bed and tip toed out of the room. I want to let him enjoy his sleep a little while longer.

I went down to the living room. No one has woken up yet. I must have woken up earlier today.

I decided to go for a morning jog. It's good to excercise. These few days I've been eating way too much.

Just then D.O came down the stairs. He looked a bit surprised to see me. " Eun-ah? You woke up early today....like me! Eh? You going jogging? " He noticed me in my jogging attire.

" Yeah, it's been a long time since I've excercised. Want to go with me? " Everytime I went jogging by my own. I really hope D.O will agree...

" Of course! You're my Eun-ah...if you want me to go, I'll definitely go. Wait here, I'll go change into more suitable clothes. " he said happily and walked back to his room.

After a moment, D.O was ready.

I put on my shoes. " I'll help you, Eun-ah. " Suddenly he knelt down in front of me and helped me tied my shoelaces. * He's such a gentleman...* I stared at him for a moment without him realising it.

" Ready? Ka ja! " He held out his hand. I held it and he pulled me up who was sitting on the ground.

" Of course I'm ready. Are you ready? I'm afraid you'll have a hard time keeping up with me..." I teased him. He just chuckled and said, " We'll see about that. "
