Dewdrop knew she couldn't fight back, and so did her brother, Ember. So they ran, their mother and father right behind them. They ran and ran, but never seemed to get any farther. Dewdrop prayed to the wolf gods, hoping one would answer her, to help her save her family.
And then Something happened, it was kind of like the world had stopped. She stopped running, noticing that her brother, and everything else had stopped moving. Everything was still.
Then their was a bright bluish light coming from above her, and she looked up. Their, she saw the beautiful wolf goddess, Luna. She had the mark of a crescent moon on her pitch black fur, in the middle of her forehead. She was so beautiful, that it was almost to painful to look at her."What is it Luna, I will do anything to save them" I said, angling my ears to family.
"Dewdrop, I am going to give you something that the gods and goddesses have chosen to give to certain wolves." Luna answered. "But you must promise to use it only for good." "I promise. Luna, what do you mean others? And what are you giving me?" I asked.
"It will all be clear one day, be patient young Dewdrop, hard times are coming. 7 will join to defeat the evil that attacks the young and old." Luna said, closing her eyes, and continued saying, " Dewdrop, prepare yourself now, this will be painful."
I didnt know what she meant until it started. It was the worst feeling. When you think about pain, you think about stubbing your paw, or runnng into a tree head first. This was different. It was inside me, everywhere. It ran through my veins, and out into my muscles, then my bones.
A bright blue glow came from my body, making designs form on my fur. My chest fur turned white for a few seconds, symbols working across it. I closed my eyes ,the light coming from my eyes too, the pain almost unbearable.
Then it stopped, and I lay their trying to catch my breathe. I coaxed my eyes open, and drank from a small pool of water.
My body was still glowing, even when Luna had left. I waited for the water to settle, then look ed my body. I have to say, for a junior, I was pretty beautiful. He designs fit my body so perfectly. Luna had said she had given me powers, but what? Well, now it's time to find out.
The world started moving again, and Ember ran past me, so I yelped for him to stop. I don't know why he listened, but he did. He turned around, and slowly walked by my side. He didn't react to the glow on my fur, but I could tell that he was not just anxious about the Burning Forest Pack.
The leader of the pack stepped up, eyes full of hatred. It was ghost, his fur unnaturally fire red with patches of black and white. He snarled at our father and mother.
"Night, we have come for the pup. Give him to us, and nothing will happen to you or your filthy rogue pack." Ghost looked at Ember, and smirked. " You, young pup, will join us. I can feel the evil in your heart. Come willingly, and no harm will come to you." Ghost said.
"Ghost, you will not take hi-" Ghost suddenly lunged for my father, jaws out for his neck. But he stopped, two feet away from my father. I thought he wouldn't kill him, but I was wrong.
Fire formed from his mouth, and formed a round flaming circle. For some reason I put my paw out, and a bluish light formed around it. My fur turned a beautiful white. The only color on my fur was my black tinged ears and tail on the ends. Wings sprouted from my back, 16 feet long. A gold ring formed around my neck, glowing yellow. (Like a necklace).
My eyes turned a crystal blue, and beautiful armor appeared on my shoulders, and haunches. They were the color black, with a bluish light glowing in straight and curved lines, that looked like they were moving.
Then my fur turned back to its black color, but everything else stayed the same. I was so amazed, but I had to act fast, because what I do determines if my father lives or dies.
I felt my power all around me and growled at Ghost, the bluish light forming into a flame around my paws. When ghost glanced at me, I took that as an advantage, and sent the blue flame right at him.
He barreled over, and lay for a second. But only for a second, because he stood right back up and ran right for me.
