My Life Story (From Seventh Grade)

Chapter 7

I walk into my science class, Halley is there waiting for me. The teacher walks in and starts talking in Spanish so fast, I cant understand it. It went a little like this: "Holaclassecomoestas!minombreesprofePedro." (Helloclasshowareyou!MynameisprofessorPedro) I was so confused, he was talking so fast. Pretty soon I gave up and just pretended to listen. The class was so slow, or so it seemed. It turned out to be one of the slowest moving classes I had. Although it was only forty five minutes it seemed to last three hours. Finally the class finished, me and Halley looked at each other with relief. Then I looked down at my schedule and got a bit disappointed, I had math next. The Teacher was names Ms. Shalom. She mainly just had us introduce ourself then we did a few math problems. The class turned out to be a little more fun than expected. I did not have any of my friends in that class, so I was pretty quiet. Its kind of funny how when I am with my friends I am such an extrovert, but when I'm with people I don't know that well I quiet down so much they hardly notice me. Once I played a elimination game in gym and I won because no one ever noticed me or did, but thought they would get me later. I've also played a game called sharks and minnows where there are two sharks and you have to run to the other side of the gym. When you are running if the shark touches you become seaweed, which pretty much means your a shark that can move. I won that game partially because I'm small and fast, but also because I was cautious and quiet. Anyway back to my first day. I looked down at my schedule and smiled, Lunch time!
