Chapter Nine- What happened?

Sky's POV

I was absolutely fuming at Alice. I'd made it very clear that I wasn't impressed with her attitude. I can understand that she's probably a bit upset about Yuno being my girlfriend but we have been best friends for years and she never once admitted her feelings for me and when I was suffering she never once tried to help me when she knew something was up even if she didn't know what it was exactly. I'm glad I had Yuno, she helped me take my mind off my frustration as we went on as many rides as possible. My personal favourites were the Haunted House and the Tunnel of Love. In the Haunted House Yuno was so scared, it was undyingly cute. She held on tight the whole way through. Being close to Yuno had this calming effect on me, I liked it. The tunnel of love was also fun as it gave me an excuse to pull Yuno close it me. Her small slender body fit perfectly into mine. It was nice to just enjoy each other's company as we drifted around on the little boat.

Unfortunately, the day came to an end all too soon, it was getting late. Holding hands with Yuno we made our way towards the exit. Although I was still a bit pissed at Alice I hoped she was ok. Soon I spotted her leaning against a sign pointing to the exit.

"Let's go," Alice muttered joining us. No snide remarks left her mouth about Yuno and I holding hands. Good, I hope she had learned her lesson. We were all silent the whole bus ride home. Nobody broke the silence until we arrived home.

"What would you like for tea?" Yuno smiled.

"Hmmm... How about I make you tea tonight?" I smiled at Yuno.

"I'm not sure," Yuno frowned, seemingly having an internal battle as we reached the kitchen.

"You always cook for me. I want to do something for you too," I pleaded with Yuno pulling her close.

"Ok," Yuno sighed, "But only because you asked nicely," Yuno sat down at the table her arms crossed, an adorable pout plastered on her face. I chuckled to myself shaking my head before grabbing all the ingredients for spaghetti bolognaise. The only meal I could really make.

Within no time at all I had whipped up spaghetti bolognaise for us all. Several times Yuno tried to help me but I shooed her away.

"Tada," I smiled proudly placing the plates on the table.

"Smells delicious," Alice smiled looking hungrily at the plate.

"Come," Yuno smiled standing up and patting the chair she had just vacated, "I'll sit on your knee again," Yuno was blushing slightly.

"Sure," I beamed sitting down. Yuno of course then sat down on my knee and began to dig in.

"Oh my god Sky!" Yuno exclaimed, "This is amazing!"

"Well I need to be able to make something for you," I replied shyly before digging in myself.

"You shouldn't worry about that Sky," Yuno beamed before kissing me on the cheek.

"Well I do worry," I muttered before stuffing some more spaghetti in my mouth. After that we ate in silence until we'd finished.

"I'll wash the dishes," Yuno smiled jumping up and taking our plates.

"So, Alice where are you staying?" I asked casually.

"Well... I hadn't planned that far ahead," Alice muttered turning slightly pink.

"Well I guess you can sleep on the sofa, we have some spare bedding and stuff," I replied.

"Oh thank you so much," Alice squealed before coming and giving me a big hug.

"No worries," I shrugged, "Do you want to have a shower? I'll sort out the living room for you,"

"Sure," Alice smiled, I was glad she wasn't moody any more.

"Follow me," I smiled leading the way upstairs to the bathroom. "Here it is. If you need anything just give me a shout," Alice nodded in reply before going in. I turned around and made my way to my room. "YUNO!" I shouted, "Can you please give me a hand?"

"Sure," Yuno shouted back as I heard her footsteps up the stairs. Soon she appeared in my doorway looking as gorgeous as ever.

"Can you take the pillow and duvet while I take the futon?" I asked.

"Of course!" Yuno beamed picking up the pillow and duvet. I also grabbed the futon before leading the way to the living room. Pushing the coffee table out of the way I dumped the futon on the floor and Yuno placed the pillow and duvet on top.

"That'll do," I shrugged turning to Yuno, "Thanks for today," I smiled pushing a strand of her pink hair behind her ear.

"N-no problem," Yuno stuttered, probably due to the close contact. I took a step closer to her so I could now feel her breath on my face. I cupped her face and closed the gap between us. Yuno's soft strawberry flavoured lips responded to mine in an instant as she wrapped her arms around my neck as she attempted to deepen the kiss. Which of course I allowed. We parted for air and all I could see was Yuno looking up at me with so much love it made my heart want to explode.

"The bathroom is free!" Alice shouted from upstairs.

"I'd better go and have a shower," I smiled giving Yuno a small kiss before going upstairs.

After we were all showered and we said our goodnights I ended up laying on Yuno's stomach looking up into her big pink eyes.

"Thank you for everything Yuno," I smiled as I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"Sky, why are you crying?" Yuno asked looking concerned as she sat up and pulled me into her lap.

"I'm just so happy," I smiled tears flowing freely, "I love you Yuno," I pushed my lips against Yuno's desperately. The kiss was wet, mostly due to me crying.

"It's ok my love," Yuno cooed, "I love you too and will always be here for you," I then fell asleep wrapped up in Yuno's arms.

Alice's POV

Today had been a pretty shitty day overall, I found out the girl who was my best friend and who I was madly in love with was already serious with someone else. Not only that but she was constantly getting mad at me for expressing my opinion. I got this bad feeling off Yuno and I was really concerned for Sky but Yuno had Sky wrapped around her little finger. I sighed as I rolled over on the futon. Suddenly I felt breath on my neck making the hairs stand up on end.

"Sky doesn't need you anymore," A female voice came from behind me. "She only needs me," That sounds like Y...
