Magenta's Baby

One Week Later

Magenta's week off work was over. She really didn't want to leave her little girl alone in the room throughout the day. Magenta got dressed in her domestic uniform and cuddled her for a while. She then fed her baby, which helped her to fall asleep and Magenta gave her baby a kiss as tears streamed from the domestic's eyes. "I'm so sorry that I have to leave you sweetheart. I promise Mommy will be back up as soon as I can." She then gently placed Miranda onto her bed, next to her teddy from Riff Raff and wrapped her little girl up. She then put up the safety barriers, to ensure her baby's safety. Magenta then placed a baby monitor next to her bed, so that she would know if her baby woke up and needed her, and she placed the other baby monitor in the pocket of her domestic uniform. Magenta double checked that she had some baby bottles filled with her breast milk, in case Miranda needed feeding throughout the day and she had some clean diapers out as well.

Magenta quietly left her bedroom, Columbia and Riff Raff were waiting outside for her. "Are you okay Magenta?" Columbia asked. "Yes, I'm fine. I just don't want to leave her on her own. What if she needs me?" Riff Raff wiped away his sister's tears and gave her a hug. "Don't worry about that my dear sister. Throughout the day, whilst you are working, I will check on her for you." Magenta smiled at her brother. "Thank you Riff Raff. I have a baby monitor with me, incase she does wake up and then I will go to take care of her. But if you get the chance to check on her throughout the day, I will really appreciate it." Riff Raff stroked his sister's face. "What did I tell you months ago, before you even had Miranda? I will always be there for you, and your little girl." Columbia also said that she will help Magenta if she needed it. Magenta was very grateful of her brother and room mate's help to take care of Miranda. She then went down to the lab with Riff Raff and Columbia, ready to start her work, knowing that she will be there for her little girl if she needs her Mommy.
