Magenta was sat on her bed, feeding her little girl. Frank and Riff Raff entered her room, with a young woman with short red hair behind them. Frank took hold of the woman by the arm and pulled her in front of him. "Ah Magenta. This is Columbia. She will come in very useful for my mission. In the meantime she will be staying in your room with you." Magenta looked down at Miranda, then averted her eyes to the young woman named Columbia, then to her Master. "Master, I'm not sure if that would be a great idea. I only gave birth to Miranda a few days ago and I spend most of the night trying to stop her from crying. Although this doesn't bother me, I don't think Columbia would be too happy about being kept awake most of the night." Frank just laughed. "Columbia will be fine. When she isn't in any use for my mission, and when you will be back at work, she will be assisting you to take care of your child." Magenta wasn't too happy about a woman that she'd only just met to help to take care of her beloved baby. The redhead looked at her brother, but he just shrugged. Frank then handed Columbia a change of clothes that consisted of a glittery corset with matching shorts, a golden glittery jacket with a matching hat and black heels. Frank and Riff Raff then left the room, leaving Columbia with Magenta and her baby.
Columbia stood awkwardly whilst Magenta continued to feed Miranda. "Is there somewhere that I can get changed please?" Magenta looked up and answered, "There's a bathroom next door. Or you can get changed in here. Either way, I'll still be focusing on taking care of my baby." Columbia then left Magenta's bedroom to get changed.
Once Columbia had left the bedroom, Magenta finished feeding Miranda. The redhead began to cradle her daughter in her arms, but the infant vomited on her mother and began to cry. Magenta cleaned the baby vomit off herself then she continued to take care of her daughter. "Don't cry sweetheart, it's alright. Mommy is taking care of you and I won't let anything hurt you." Miranda then fell asleep in her mother's arms, and Magenta gave her baby a kiss on the forehead before she placed her gently on the bed and wrapped her up in a small baby blanket.
Columbia came back in the room, in her clothes that Frank gave her and Magenta put her finger up to her lips, indicating to Columbia to be quiet as she didn't want her little girl to be disturbed. Magenta pulled a chair next to her and told Columbia to sit down, she figured that if she was to be her room mate, and she would help Magenta to take care of Miranda, Magenta would need to get to know Columbia first. "So, how did you meet the Master?" Columbia sat quite awkwardly as she answered, "I was walking past the castle and I stopped for a few moments. I saw this figure emerge from the castle walking towards me. He introduced himself as Frank. At first I felt quite apprehensive. But there was something about him, like a charm. He invited me in and told me I could come in some sort of use. And then he lead me into the castle, introduced me to that strange man Riff Raff." Magenta interrupted Columbia, "That 'strange man' happens to be my brother, so be careful what you say about him." Columbia seemed quite scared of Magenta. "Oh I am so sorry. I didn't realise." Columbia looked over to Miranda. "So, when did you have your baby?" Magenta stared at Columbia. "A few days ago. I barely get any time to rest but that doesn't bother me. My main priority is to take care of her. Well, until my week is up and then I have to go back to work and can't take care of her as much as I'd like to." Magenta felt tears slowly rolling down her face. Columbia passed her a tissue. "I'm sure you will be fine. I know that we've only just met and barely know each other but just from seeing you take care of your daughter, I know you won't let anything stop you from loving her. And when you do go back to work, I don't mind assisting you to look after her. You most probably don't trust me because you've only just met me and I can see you're very protective over your baby. But I won't do anything to hurt your child."
Magenta climbed into bed and cuddled her little girl as she slept. Columbia got into the bed at the other side of the room and fell asleep instantly. This was the longest that Miranda had been asleep over the past few days. Magenta gently kissed her daughter, so that she wouldn't wake her up and Magenta fell asleep.
It was approximately 3am when Miranda woke up and started to cry. Magenta woke up instantly, sat up and fed her little girl. Columbia however, wasn't very happy about getting woke up. "Do you have any idea what time it is?" she yawned. Magenta looked up across the room to Columbia. "She's a baby. I can't tell her when she can and can't wake up during the night. I told you that this didn't bother me. I'd do anything for my baby to make sure that she is alright. Even if that means staying up half the night feeding and cuddling her to calm her down." Columbia had tears streaming from her eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm still getting used to this. I just need a bit more time to be able to adapt. But I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." Magenta smiled across to Columbia. "It's alright dear, dry those tears. You didn't upset me. I'm just very tired and I just want to make sure Miranda is alright. As a mother, I put my baby's needs before my own. So if it means sleepless nights to take care of her, then so be it. But you should try to block out her cries. That way you will be able to sleep better. I could never block my little girl's cries, it breaks my heart hearing her cry when I just leave the room for a few minutes. It'd kill me if I ever ignored her. But you go back to sleep Columbia, it's very late." Columbia smiled at Magenta and she laid back went back to sleep. Magenta finished feeding Miranda and she changed her diaper. Miranda still continued to cry but Magenta cradled her in her arms, quietly singing a Transylvanian lullaby to calm her little girl. Miranda stopped crying and Magenta laid down on her bed, cuddling her baby. The redhead wrapped herself and her daughter up in a blanket and she watched her little girl fall back to sleep in her arms, before falling asleep herself.
