Magi

Chapter 3

"Run, run," shouted Robin, "grab your stuff and let's go." "Where?", asked Lucas. "The castle". The children had run to the barn. They quickly gathered their stuff, and ran off in the direction of the castle.

Willow was running towards her house. She climbed in through her window, grabbed the book, and leapt out. She started running in the direction of the barn, then stopped. They knew she would come for them. She considered the situation, then whirled around and ran towards the castle. The three children were right about to reach the outer wall, when Willow ran across the field in front of it. Robin raised his pocketknife. "Wait," shouted Brook. Brook was the only one who recognized the symbol on the front of the book, which Willow was holding up. Robin and Lucas gasped. "I'm not your enemy," Willow said, "now come on, before they see us. There's a secret entrance. This one is locked." "Two things," Lucas said, "A why should we trust you, and B how do you know so much about us." Robin and Brook nodded agreement. "Both questions have the same answer," Willow said, "trust me because I have an illegal Magi item, and that item is how I know so much about the castle. Aren't you coming?" Robin, Lucas, and Brook exchanged looks and shrugged. "Sure," replied Robin, "lead the way. But one thing. What's your name?" "Willow. Now follow me." Willow lead them to the drawbridge, which was down. They crossed, and Willow lead them, in single file, around to the west side. "One of you come here," Willow said. Robin walked over. "This is a door," began Willow. "Looks like a wall to me," interrupted Lucas. "-But it needs the touch of a Magi to open it." Robin held out his right hand, and touched the rough, grey stone. Suddenly, the wall rippled, and a door appeared. Robin grinned, and opened the door. Then, somewhat nervously, the four children went inside the castle.
