Here are some questions I'd like to answer about End Hot Jerks.

1. How long do EHJ stories have to be?

As long as you want! They can be one chapter or a hundred chapters long. That depends on you and what you want to do with your work.

2. What genre does my story have to be?

Again, that's entirely up to you. If you want your story to be about a girl rejecting her alpha mate, put it under the werewolf genre. If it's about a settler on an alien planet rejecting a rude bully, it's science fiction. The plot for your story is up to you - it just has to include a girl rejecting a hot jerk.

3. What if I want my main character to fall for the hot jerk?

Well, then it's not an End Hot Jerks story. I will not feature stories about girls actually falling for hot jerks in this book.

4. Can the hot jerk be a girl?
Absolutely! A  boy who rejects a mean girl is totally appropriate for EHJ.

5. What are the guidelines for EHJ?
The only guideline is that your main character must meet and reject the romantic advances of a hot jerk. Other than that, you can do whatever you want with your writing. You can write about ghosts or zombies, werewolves or vampires. You could write about royalty or aliens, or just normal teenagers. Just add a hot jerk getting rejected into your story.

6. Can the boy or girl who rejects the hot jerk meet a nicer love interest?

The answer is yes. Your main character can ABSOLUTELY say "suck it" to the hot jerk by finding someone better.
