The darkness seemed to swirl into place after the door closed. The girl stood and stared at the door. Quietly, I got up and walked over to her.
"Hello." Was this really my voice? I haven't heard it in so long.
She yelped in surprise but I was quick to cover her mouth.
"Don't let them hear you!" I whispered before I took my hand away. She turned to look at me. Even though this room was extremely dark, her eyes were bright. They were a beautiful purple colour. Purple... yes, purple was such a lovely colour... I miss colours.
"You made noise, You can still talk then?" I'm still not very used to my voice. It's so odd hearing it after so long."Y-yes" She said very quietly. Her voice was nice. I'd hate for her to lose it like many others before.
