She smiled, her mood seeming to completely change.
"Alright Red, I'm getting us out of here. You've been here long enough, and I don't plan on staying."
I remained quiet as she explained the plan. When she was finished, she turned to the door.
"A kiss for good luck?" I stared at her, confused by what she meant. She chuckled and quietly said "Never mind." She walked closer to the door and began yelling, I followed and did the same. Soon enough, we heard a set of odd footsteps walking down the hall. We stopped screaming, and ran into the corners farthest from the door. My heart began racing as I heard keys jingling. What if I mess up? What if something goes wrong? Those thoughts were pushed aside when the door swung open. 'Nesi' tackled the monster while I ran over and searched for keys and weapons. While I was at it, I took the device used to communicate to other monsters. I felt pretty smart. I turned to the door that lead to the other hallway and started running. I stopped when I heard no footsteps behind me. I turned around to see Nesi beating the monster. "Nesi! We have to go now!" I yelled quietly. She nodded and began following me
