Skylar and Kyliee were sitting in the living room doing their daily yoga routine. Kyliee felt uneasy due to the fact that their grandma hadn't left her room all day, but she knew grandma Angie didn't want to be bothered.
"What's wrong Ky?" Skylar asked. She noticed the stress plastered on her sister's face.
"I'm just thinking about grandma. I hope she's okay." Kyliee said.
"I'm sure she's fine." Sky said. Kyliee shook her head and stood up.
"I just need to check." She said, as she ran upstairs. Skylar hopped up and ran behind her.
"Ky!" She said. Kyliee ignored her and burst into the room.
"Grandma? Are you okay?" Kyliee asked. No response.
"Grandma?" Kyliee said again. No response.
"Oh my god! Granny!" Skylar said. She ran over and touched her cold cheek.
"She's dead." Skylar said.
"What? No! She can't die!" Kyliee cried. Skylar quickly dialed 911 and screamed to the operator to quickly send the ambulance. Kyliee was laying over her dead grandmother crying her eyes out. Their grandma took them in when they had nowhere else to go, and now she was gone. Once the paramedics arrived, they announced that their grandma was indeed dead. She died peacefully in her sleep. Skylar and Kyliee both cried as they watched their grandma get pulled out on a stretcher. Now all they had was each other.

The funeral was short, sweet, and very emotional. All of Grandma Angie's closest friends and family came to show their condolences. Everybody gave Skylar and Kyliee hugs and kisses and told them if they needed anything then don't hesitate to call. Yeah right! Skylar thought. Later that night, Skylar and Kyliee cuddled on the couch and prayed. Praying was something they did on a regular that their grandma taught them to do. The tears were falling down Kyliee's face as Skylar led the prayer.
"Sky?" Kyliee said, interrupting Skylar.
"What?" Sky said.
"What's gonna happen to us?" She asked.
"Shhh. We're going to be fine. As long as we look after each other then we're good. Nothing is gonna happen to us." Skylar said. She hugged her little sister tight. Though Kyliee was still afraid of almost everything, she knew her sister would never let anything happen to her.

The next day, while Kyliee went to therapy, Skylar went to visit her grandma's lawyer.
"Hello Miss Davis. I'm Mr. Bradshaw. Please have a seat." He said, shaking Skylar's hand. Skylar smiled and took a seat. She looked around the small office and then at the man in front of her. He was a chocolate man with a low haircut, a small but noticeable beard, and patches of grey hairs all over his head. He straightened his tie as he pulled out Grandma Angie's last Will and Testament.
"Before we get started I'd like to first express my deepest condolences. Ms. Angie was a lovely woman and friend to me." Skylar gave him a small smile and nodded her head.
"Thank you." She managed to say. He smiled warmly at her and opened the Will.
"Here we go. It says: I, Ms. Angela Denise Davis, declare that this is my last Will and Testament. Since I am not married, and my only child is deceased; I leave all assets to my granddaughters; Skylar Elise Davis and Kyliee Alexis Davis. They will receive all my beneficiaries including my house, car, and any money I have saved up." Mr. Bradshaw read.
"And according to this...Ms. Angie had $250,000 saved up in one bank, $100,000 saved up in another bank, and...$75,000 in yet another bank. Congratulations Miss Davis. You and your sister are now $425,000 dollars richer." Mr. Bradshaw said. Skylar sat in shock as she stared at the lawyer. She wondered how her grandma had so much money and where did it all come from.
"Ah yes. There's also a letter here from your grandmother." Mr. Bradshaw stated. "She doesn't want you to read it until you and your sister are together and in a good mindset." Skylar furrowed her eyebrows.
"What does she mean by that?" She asked.
"I'm not sure. Maybe when you both have had time to grieve and you're feeling a little better, then you sit down to open it." Mr. Bradshaw stated. That made much more sense to Skylar. She thanked the lawyer, shook his hand, and quickly exited his office. She checked the time and realized it was time to pick up Kyliee from her session. As Skylar was walking to her car, somebody ran into her and caused her to fall.
"What the hell!" Skylar snapped.
"Aw shit my bad ma." She heard a deep voice say. He grabbed Skylar by her arm and helped her up. Skylar brushed off her clothes and fixed her hair.
"You good baby girl. I didn't fuck you up." Dacieon said, amusingly. Skylar rolled her eyes and looked at the man who knocked her down. She was instantly attracted to a tall, brown skinned man with promising brown eyes, and countless tattoos. He was wearing some black shorts with a white wife beater, and a black and white snapback. He had on some fresh white J's and the brother just looked good! Skylar ignored his comment and turned to walk off, but the man grabbed her arm.
"Damn ma. Why you acting so cold?" He asked.
"Did you not just knock me down? Sorry not sorry if I don't want to talk!" She snapped. He smiled at her feistiness.
"Aight let's start over. What's good ma? I'm Dacieon." He said.
"And I'm leaving." Skylar said, as she walked passed him. Dacieon chuckled as he watched the beautiful woman walk away. He admired her curves and the way her ass looked in her blue jeans. He never had a woman turn him away like she just did and that made him want her ass even more. He brushed it off and headed towards his car. Dacieon was headed to the trap house to give his men the list of names his father wanted killed. He knew never to get his own hands dirty, that's why he had men to do it for him. He picked up his phone and called his best friend. This was the one person he knew he could trust with his own life.
"Aye fool. I'm headed your way so be outside." Dacieon said, getting into his all white 2015 Benz Coupe. This was just one of many cars Dacieon owned. He cruised down the street bumping Kevin Gates and nodding his head to the lyrics.
I've been abused by this cold, cold world
Everybody around you pretending that they your partner (Woah!)
Let you have a problem they won't even help you out (Woah!)
Smiling in your face, you turn your back they talk about you
I've been abused by this cold, cold world
Lord I'm going out I'm stacking all my benjamins
Swear to God that I can't wait to shit on all my friends again
I'm a pull up bens again, p-p-pull up bens again
I'm a pull up bens again, p-p-pull up bens again
I whipped into the driveway and watched as my best homie hopped into the car.
"Bout time nigga!" She said. Yeah...Sho nuff my best friend is a girl. Desi is one of the baddest bitches I know and we go way back to elementary school.
"So what's the move D?" She asked.
"We're taking this list to the trap then we're going to make some more money." Dacieon said.
"Shit well let's hit it!" She said.
