Chapter 10

- Madison Carter -

"Madison wake up!" I hear a soft voice. "A few more minutes." I groan. "No Di I'm hungry!" I can hear it's Finn. I open my eyes and see Finn. I've dreamt so good! Niall and I were watching Step Brothers and we build a blanket fort. "Come on Di!" Finn pulls my arm. "Come here Finnie." I smile pulling him in my bed. I cuddle him tight. "Now I'm ready." I chuckle and climb out of bed. "Hey what's this?"

*Hey Madison! We fell asleep on the couch. But I took you upstairs. Tonight was fun. Text me when you both wake. I can't lock the door so I'll pick a key and lock it so you're safe. So text me and I'll bring the key back.

It wasn't a dream? That's why I couldn't remember going to bed. He's the cutest. But he has been in my room. I have to talk to him about that. I text him as I walk down the stairs.

*Hey Horan! Saw your note. Thank you so much for that. Sorry I fell asleep. X*

"So what do you want to eat Finnie?" I smile. "Pancakes!" The little boy squeals happily. "Okay!" I chuckle. I quickly bake a few pancakes and walk back to the couch Finn is sitting at. "Don't we need to eat at the table?" Finn asks a bit confused. "It's our little secret." I wink. "Here." And I give him a plate. "Careful buddy." I smile.

"I wake up at ten and see a text from Madison.

*Hey Horan! Saw your note. Thank you so much for that. Sorry I fell asleep. X*

She's always sorry for everything she really has to stop with that!

*Hey Silly! Don't be sorry! Fell meself asleep too! Haha. Shall I bring the key at noon? X*

I'm about to place my phone at the table when I receive a call. I pick it up and see it's Madison. She's fast!

"Hello Silly!" I smile.

"Nollie come now!" I hear Finn cry.

"Finn everything alright?" I ask scared and jump out of bed.

"It's about Di." He still cries.

"Shh calm down please Finnie. It's gonna be alright." I hear Maddison sob. This doesn't sound great.

"Finnster hang on. What happened?" I ask worriedly.

"She fell of the stairs." The boy breaths heavily but did calm down a bit.

I've put on a hoodie and sweatpants and walk to my shoes.

"Is she hurt?" I ask.

"Yes! She cries." He starts crying again.

"Shh Finster. I'm on my way. It's going to be alright!" I say in my phone. And drive away.

"Ask her if her head hurts." I briefly say in the phone.

"Hurt your head?" Finn asks as I said.

"It hurts a bit she says. But I think it does hurt a lot." The boy breaths heavily.

I've driven through at least 5 red lights but I drive their lane in.

"I'm here Finster. Stay at your sister, I have a key." I instruct and run to the house.

"Okay." The boy sniffs.

I run into the house right to the stairs. I see her lying on the ground.

"Madison!" I say breathless. I slowly pull her up. "Here drink a bit." I say still holding her up and help her put the bottle to her mouth.

"Feeling better?" I ask as she drank a bit. "A bit." she sighs. "We go to the hospital. Now." I breath. "No, I'm fine." She groans. "No Madison I can see you're hurt. Finster can you pick her jacket?" I ask and the boy runs away.

I drag her into the hospital with Finn running along. As we walk in two nurses run with a hospital bed in our direction. I carefully place Madison at the bed and walk along with the nurses. "What happened sir?" He asks. "She fell of the stairs. Not a regular stairs a massive stone one." Who ever invented that? "Okay. We'll take care of her now. You can wait here till the doctor arrives." He says. "Be careful with her." I call to them. If they do anything wrong..

Finn picks my leg and I bend. "Is she going to die?" The little boy asks and starts to cry again. I wrap my arms around him and pull him closer. "Shh Finster." I whisper in his ear.

"She's not going to die. The doctor will take care of her." I say to Finn. "I promise." I add.
