Scarlett POV

I walked to the lake the exact spot he told me to go. It was hard holding in the tears. It was hard to stop the questions that were running though my head. Where is he? Why does he want to ruin my life so bad? What does he even want from me? Am I ever going to see James again?

(1 hour before)

I was siting on the couch with Cookie and Fox. I got a text from him. The text said. 'Why won't you talk to me?'. 'Cuz your a bastard'. I texted back. 'Go to the lake in 1 hour' the next text said. 'Just leave me alone' I texted back. 'Go o the lake in 1 hour or I hurt James and this time he won't survive' he texted back. 'Ok' I texted back. "Hey baby what you doing on the phone?" James asked coming into the room. "Nothing." I said quickly. "Whatever you say. I'm going to take a shower." James said. "Ok." I said and gave him a long passionate kiss cuz I knew this may be the last time I see him and I may be the last chance to feel his soft lips on mine. I pulled away and James looked at me. "What was that for?" James asked. "Nothing." I said. "Ok." James said. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." James said and kissed my forehead. He went to the shower and I grabbed a piece of paper.

'I'm going with Scott somewhere. I don't know when I'm coming back or if I ever will. I'm sorry for doing this to you but it was either this or Scott would hurt you. Take good care of Cookie. Say goodbye to Layla, Shane, Shawn, Kendall, Logan, Carlos, April, Jamie, Nikki, Alex, Lacy, and Skylar. I will miss you all so much and I'm really sorry I had to leave. I love you all. I hope I'll be able to see you all again. Goodbye. -Scarlett'

I set the pen down and put the note on the fridge. I gave both Cookie and Fox and kiss on the head and I walked out of the door and down to the lake.
