We were all in the living room eating our famous pizza, when Clara asked to see the pizzeria, and how it was doing.
"To be honest.... I kinda miss Chica." She said, holding her knees against her chest innocently.
"They will always be a part of us. Can we just go see then for a minute?" Ben asked.
I thought for a moment. Going back to the pizzeria could somehow hold the key to finding Sai and Gordon. It was worth a shot, as I had no idea where to look next.
So, we made a midnight run to Freddy's. We were going to head to the museum shortly after.
I had a key, being co owner of the joint, so we entered the building with ease. There was a night guard on duty, but he didn't have to worry about anything coming to life. Easiest job ever. I talked to him though, so he knew we were going to the showroom.
I turned the lights on, and there they were, definitely well maintained. We made it a point to make sure they were always clean and working properly.
"Just like they were, back in the day..." Ben smiled.
"And foxy isn't out of order!" Felix exclaimed, excited. "I remembered not being able to move until..."
"We were all stuck in here, no one even knew we were here until..." Ben continued.
"And we were mindlessly attacking every security guard until..." Clara kept it going until they all looked at me. "Until you came along, (Y/N)."
They smiled, grateful still that I had set them free. They were thankful to be out of the animatronics, but that was also the only life they had known for a long time.
"Don't thank me just yet." I looked away. "There is still a few things left to do before you can be free for good. First, find Gordon and Sai. Then, take down Springtrap!"
*************
We went to the museum shortly after our visit with the animatronics. It was a few minutes after midnight but all was still clear.
"I'm going to go find the bastard and shoot him a bunch." Uncle mentioned as he armed himself with a few high powered guns.
"You know that does nothing right..." I looked at him as he was leaving.
"I know. But it is fun." He chuckled and left the room to find Springtrap, leaving a short silence behind.
"Okay let's get to business." I stated. "Marty, you're coming with me to see if we can find Sai and Gordon. Clara and Ben, same as you have, keep in communication with me and uncle. Felix, can you scout to see if you can find anything out of place?"
"I'm on it." He smirked. "I'll head out as soon as your uncle finds Springtrap."
Marty and I left to find the remaining two of the group. Out of the clues that he had given me in a vision the night before, I only had to find some kind of number pad, and a black Bonnie doll. In the vision I only saw the items, but not their location. That's where Marty came in, or so I thought.
"So where do I find the keys for Sai and Gordon?" I asked after a short period of silence.
"You know I...don't remember." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "But I did it purposely you know... I wanted to forget where they were."
"Why is that?"
"Just in case I was caught by Springtrap... If he were to torture me for information on where they were...I could not tell him. Now, I only know what I showed you."
"I see." I nodded. "Marty, you are truly an amazing person." I smiled widely at him, but he only returned a small shy grin.
"I just... It is my fault they were trapped in the first place. Sure they wanted to get back at the guy that killed them, but I could have just sent them away so they would have no choice but to move on. Really, it is my fault they suffered."
"No,that was Vincent's fault. It was his fault all along for not only their suffering, but yours too. Besides.." I looked at him. "if you hadn't given them life in the animatronics, I never would have met with them again, or figure out what really happened to them. I would never have met you either. So really, do you think what you did was a bad thing?"
I seemed to have made him think about it.
From the nearby hall we heard a few gunshots, telling us not to go that way.
(Marty's POV)
(Y/N) told me I was a good person. Though she had reasoning behind her statement, I still didn't believe it. Everyone was right about her, though. They never had anything bad to say about her. And now I saw why.
I felt so useless. We had been everywhere and still couldn't find they keys. The night was half over. (Y/N) was going to be upset if we couldn't fine Gordon. Or...Sai...
((Y/N)'s POV)
"(Y/N), we found something strange in the office." Ben paged me.
"Who??" I asked, playing.
"Were not doing the codenames anymore it got boring."
It was silent for a while while I just stood there, not responding to what Ben had to say. He must have seen me on the cameras, not moving, because he paged me back with a huge sigh.
"....fine... Fazbear1, this is VC and we found something strange in the office."
"That's better."
Marty laughed. He tried to hide it, but I saw him snickering out of the corner of my eye.
Marty and I hurried back to the office, where Ben had shown me a weird wall next to the desk. There were 9 squares that you could push like buttons.
"Wait, this is it! (Y/N), do you remember the numbers I showed you? This is how you will find Gordon!"
I recalled the numbers as if I had just seen them, and entered them into the strange wall like a keypad. Nothing happened.
"Hmmm..." I thought for a moment and looked around. "Hey. Was this here before?" I picked up a strange black doll. I knew what it was, but if it had been there the entire time I was going to feel like a complete idiot.
The black Bonnie doll vanished in my hand and I suddenly felt light headed. I swayed a little, and Ben caught me.
"(Y/N)! Are you alright??" Ben yelled. He shook me lightly when he saw that I was closing my eyes, in an attempt to keep me awake. I couldn't stay awake. Soon, everything went black.
I didn't dream about Sai that time. I was alone, wearing a flowy dress. In a field of flowers. I lay in the garden, curled up and slept. I was so, so tired.
