When we got to my house, Ben went up to my room. We didn't want to have to explain anything to Uncle. You know, we were just too damn tired.

I was downstairs when, speak of the devil, Uncle was on his way to the pizzeria. It was early, but he probably had owner stuff to do.

"How was it?" Uncle asked as he poured some freshly brewed coffee in a travel mug.

"It was...." I didn't even know how to finish my answer.

"I'm sure you have some new information about..." he trailed off, but I knew exactly what he meant.

"Why didn't you tell me? Where did you see him before the museum?"

"I'm didn't tell you, because I knew you would try and kill him. Because of your friends." He explained. He was right, I would have.

"I know that he won't die until I am.." I looked away. "But I cannot just sit and do nothing. My friends they...they won't know peace until he is gone."

"(Y/N), they have been gone for 6 years. That are already at peace."

"They know he is here. They told me in my dream."

"In a dream huh...look I think you should stay home-"

"This is very important to me. Why is it, that when stuff like this happens, you don't believe me?"

"Because this is highly implausible. Are you trying to tell me the ghosts of your friends came back?"

"Are you trying to tell me you wouldn't believe me if I was?"

He sighed and buried his face in his hands as he sat at the table.

"This is getting us nowhere."

"Yes...I know." I crossed my arms. "In other words...I have to do this without you." I turned to go upstairs. "Have a good day at work."

I almost wanted to cry. This was a pain that I knew all too well, when he didn't believe me. Still, I couldn't find it in me to handle it.
________

Ben and I slept all day. Me in my bed, and him in the corner next to my closet. He didn't even want any pillows or blankets.

We woke up when it was time to go back to the museum. I packed something to eat and told Ben to go start the car while I gathered my weapons.

"Good evening." Uncle tried to greet me with a smile. I could tell he was irritated. "Going back?"

"You know the answer to that." I stated as I checked the clips in my guns.

"He'll kill you (Y/N)."

"No he won't. "

"You should know by now that those guns won't even work. Why are you bringing them?"

"They're not for Vincent. They make me feel calmer. I may not even use them." I glared at him. "Unless someone tries to stop me."

"I get it, I get it.." he chuckled. "I should remember who I'm talking to,huh?" He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me. "I love you, very much. I'm just scared, that's all. You know, you are all I have now." He looked in my eyes and brushed some hair behind my ear. "I apologize for doubting you. Be safe okay?"

"I will. See you after my shift." I smiled. "I love you too, Uncle." I hugged him again.

"Kick his ass, sweetheart."

~Uncle's POV~

I just let her go. I know she can take care of herself, I know she can. I guess it's the father instinct I have. I do have to admit though, she is taking after me so I know she'll be fine. I am confident that she has the skills to take Vincent down. I'm just scared that he'll keep hunting her, and that's no life to live.

I let her go. I just smiled and waved, and let her go. I knew she would go even if I asked her to stay. She's stubborn, like me. Maybe..I should join her the next night and take down Vincent for sure. Would she even let me?

~???? POV~ "Come back, (Y/N).. you are so close to finding me.."
