The Beautiful Serpent (Seamus Finnigan FF)

The train carriage door opened and there stood a disgruntled looking boy. "D'you mind if I sit here?"

I glanced down at my hands and nervously replied "N-no that's fine." The boy smiled and plopped himself down.

"Seamus Finnigan." He said sticking out his hand. I glanced down at it considering whether I should shake it.

"Abelinda, but you can all me Abbie." I said shyly, smiling and shaking his hand.

"Abelinda, interesting name. Does it have a specific meaning?" Seamus asked as he put his trunk into the over head rails.

"Actually it does - it means 'beautiful serpent' in Latin so...um...yeah..." I answered, way to go Abbie start strong and finish like the awkward potato that you are.

"Ok, was not expecting that but that's cool." Seamus said. He genuinely smiled at me and I instantly felt slightly less nervous. "So how come I've never seen you here before? I mean what year are you in?"

"Oh, right, why wasn't I here for a few years? Well I wasn't here for a few years because I went to Beaxbatons because...um...I don't know really, but my parents decided they wanted me to be closer to my older brother." I said. "Sorry I'm rambling, but to answer your question I'm in the fifth year and my brother is in the sixth year."

"Oh I'm in the sixth year as well what's your brother called?" Seamus asked.

And this was the bit that I was terrified of, I nervously looked at Seamus, "Promise me you won't freak out when I tell you this?" Seamus gave me a quizzical look. "Ummmmm Abbie is everything ok?" 

"Yeah it's just I reckon you probably don't like him...cause you are in Griffindor and I have heard him say not nice things about Griffindors, and stuff like that." I mumbled.

"Umm how do you know I'm in Griffindor? And just tell me wh your brother is, it can't be that bad!" Seamus said making me smile. "Well firstly your trunk is covered in Griffindor stickers and my brother is Draco...Draco Malfoy."
