The past three months have been a complete mess, like me. I've become so awful. An unsavable, horrible, mess.

10:24 pm, 2 months ago.

I threw my dying ciggarette bud onto the concrete as I glided into some random college party. Telling myself I would stop was useless, I was on a neverending downward spiral.

Walking in, I got surrounded immediately by a few strangers and the stench of beer. Searching for the kitchen, I gently bumped into Charlie Gardner.

I quickly acknowledged him, by flashing him a smile. Charlie was the least of my worries, my attention was on finding the alchohol.

As soon as I found it I grabbed some vodka. It slipped down my throat, burning like fire. Somehow I manage.

The room smelled like beer, cigarettes, and weed. It reeked of cheap prefume and the people playing beer pong were nearly screaming.

Charlie stomped over too me, confident. I rolled my eyes, he was always too cocky.

"Maya, I never would have thought for you to be a party girl," he yelled over the slurred tones, of many drunk kids.

"It started quite recently,"

"Ah, I see, wanna go somewhere quieter?" He asked, confidence fading like a sunset.

I nodded, the noise had begun to give me a pounding headache.

I chugged my vodka, refilled my cup, then slowly followed him. His faded black jeans led me upstairs into a small blue bedroom.

I sat on the bed, observing the pictures, of an unknown male.

"Do you know who lives here?" I asked.

"My brothers friend,"

I shook my head in reply.

"So how have you been?" his voice sounded seemingly genuine.

"Alright, getting along just fine."

"You must have a high tolerance for alchohol, I can barely drink vodka,"

"If I told you I liked it, I'd be lying."

He sat next to me, creating new wrinkles in the freshly tucked sheets. I swallowed the rest of my vodka, feeling whoozy.

We began kissing, not smooth, nor rough. He slipped his tongue in, all I seemed to taste was whiskey and apples.

The constant worry surrounded me like air, everyone was concerned. She was extremely difficult, she avoided us the best she could.

A knock on my window aroused me, it was a shivering Farkle. He sat next to me after I let him in.

"She needs help, if we don't help her she's gonna get herself in trouble."

I sighed loudly, resting my head on his shoulder.

"But how?" exasperation was the only feeling I could muster.

"Rehab? She's been drinking alot right?"

"Yeah, just partying in general. I don't think she's addicted though. It's just her way of coping maybe she'll come around. It's almost impossible to help someone who doesn't want it." The words flowing from my mouth to his ears almost shocked me, Maya meant the world to me, but really what could we do?

The next day at school, which I hadn't attended since last Tuesday was crawling with rumors and kids surrounding the faded blue lockers.

A peachy brunette ran up to me full of hopeful joy,

"Peaches! You're here you don't know how much i've missed you!" she engulfed me in a soft, riley-like hug.

"I heard you slept with Charlie Gardner!" she whisper-screamed.

"That's bullshit. All we've ever done of that nature is stick our tongues down eachothers throats. Where did you hear that anyway?"

"Charlie is telling everyone."

"That dickhead's dead."

Later, in the middle of p.e. I roam the halls searching for Charlie. I find his shadow looming over a water fountain.

"You arragont asshole! We didn't fuck, in fact I bet you're still a virgin. I would never have sex with you anyway. Seriously, get over yourself." his surprised expression, was strangely satisfying.

Until, his fist collided with my nose, and blood oozed out. The bell rang just as he punched me, queing the kids flowing into the halls.

That's when I kicked him in the balls, then leaving faster than drama-thirsty kids could surround us.
