The Sacred Shikon Jewel.

Inuyasha looked pretty shocked. He stood there and stared at me.

....

Okay... Now I'm starting to freak out...

You: Inuyasha? (You wave your hand in front of his face)

I turned to Kagome.

You: Does he normally do this?

Kagome: No.

Next thing I know Inuyasha hugs me. This took me by surprise but I hugged him back. After a moment, he released me.

Inuyasha: It's nice to see you again,
Y/n.

You: Same here.

Then, I hear someone clear their throat on the other side of the room.

Kagome: I'm sorry but, is there something I missed?...

Inuyasha: Oh, sorry. Kagome. This is Y/n. She's a childhood friend of mine. Y/n,this is Kagome. She's the reincarnation of The priestess Kikyo.

Kikyo... She died slaying Inuyasha, how is he still here?...

I snapped myself out of it and said hello to Kagome.

You: It's nice to meet you Kagome. (you give her a bow as if to say hello)
Huh?

I turned around only to see Inuyasha giving me a strange look.

Inuyasha: Hey, what happened to you?

You: What do you mean- Hey!

He then started rubbing my head. 

You: What are you doing? 

He then grabbed my hand and looked at it, I don't know why but he kept examining me. I've finally had enough of this so I punched him on the head. 

Inuyasha: Ow!

You: Stop touching me, will Ya'? Geez... Haven't you ever heard of personal space?

Inuyasha: I mean, what happen to you? Last time I saw you, you were half demon as well. Now you have no ears, no claws, nothing.

You: Oh, heh, sorry. But, I lost my demon. My sister took it away from me. A couple months after she ran away from home she ambushed me and tool the demon out of me. Therefore, making her full demon and leaving me as nothing but a mere human. The only demon related thing left in me is my scent. I still have it, it's just really messed up.

Inuyasha: Wow. I didn't know demons could do that.

You: It happens.... Well, where were you guys heading off to next?

Kagome: Well, we were going to head back to the village. You wanna come with?

You: I don't have anything else better to do so, sure.

~time skip~

I've been to this village before...

Kagome and Inuyasha led me into a little hut. I recognized the woman inside the hut.

You: Lady Kaede.

She come over to me.

Kaede: Y/n.

Inuyasha: You two know each other?

You: Yea. I've done a lot over the years. Including meeting Kaede. Which brings me to my next question. Inuyasha.

Inuyasha: Huh?

You: Over the years, I've heard of the stories going around. One of them being about you and Kikyo. If Kikyo was the one who bound you to a tree with her arrow, which supposedly killed you, how are you still here?

Kaede: That Is a story for another time Y/n. Right now we need to talk.

You: About?

Kaede: The sacred Shikon No Tama Jewel. Other wise known as the Jewel of four souls.

You: What about it?

Kagome: Let's just say that the jewel got shattered into lots of tiny pieces and we have to find them.

You: WHAT?! YOU TWO LOST THE JEWEL?!

Inuyasha: Not exactly. We have part of it with us. We just have to find the rest of the shards.

You: Do you know what'll happen if other demons get hold of those?!

Inuyasha: Frankly, yes. We've ran into plenty of demons. And so far, they've all had shards of the Shikon Jewel.

You: (you sit down) Well, I just have one question left then.

Kaede: And that is?

You: How did the thing get lost in the first place?

Kaede: Kagome. Would you like to explain?

Kagome: Sure. (she sits down next to you) Well, I don't even belong in this era honestly.

You: That explains why you don't look like your from this era.

Kagome: Anyways, I was yanked down a well to get here. Since I'm the reincarnation of Kikyo the Shikon jewel was inside of me. When I was yanked down the well, I ended up here. I came across the tree where Inuyasha was bound to. Then there was this centipede thing that came and tried to take the jewel from inside of me. After the battle Inuyasha was free from the tree. I had pulled Kikyo's Arrow out of him. After that we went back to the village. A couple days later a demon crow had came and took the jewel. Me, using my amazing archery skills, hit the jewel. Causing the jewel to shatter into lots of tiny pieces. Me and Inuyasha's goal now is to gather all the fragments of the jewel and-

Inuyasha: Give it to me so I can become a full fledged demon.

Kagome: No. Our goal is to find it and protect it to make sure no evil gets the jewel.

You: So, your the reason why the Jewel's lost?

Kagome: Ugh... That's not what I was aiming for.

Kaede: Y/n,the point is that, it'd be nice if you tagged along with them.

You: What help am I gonna be? I'm not demon any more. And besides, it's not like I can sense where the jewel is.

Kaede: You can heal others can't you?

You: Hm?

Kaede: I've known you and your mother for years. Stop hiding your powers away. And besides, it'd be nice to know that there's someone on the team that can probably stop Inuyasha with all of his reckless actions.

You: Heh... Okay, fine. I'll join.

From that point on I joined Inuyasha and Kagome on their adventures on finding the Shikon jewel.
