"Harry get your ass up," my dad barked. I groaned and turned in my bed to check the time. I hate waking up early, and the fact that it's for school makes it worse.
I rolled out of bed, and stumbled to the dresser, grabbing a black tee shirt and black skinny jeans. Once I was dressed, I looked in the mirror and fumbled with my hair a little to push it out if my face.
I jogged into the bathroom, and brushed my teeth, taking one last look at my appearance before going down the steps, grabbing my book bag, and walking out the front door.
My dad is gone to work by now. He's a lawyer for the biggest law firm in London. I looked down at my shoes, walking to my black range rover.
I look up and saw the tall, brown haired girl, getting into her car as well.
"Hey!" I shouted from across the street.
She still had earbuds plugging her ears, and I watched as she bopped around to music before entering her car, and driving away.
A sense of hope fills me, as I thought maybe we go to the same school. Maybe, I can find out more about her.
***
The school day drags by, and I haven't seen Her once. Maybe I was wrong and she doesn't go here. Math is my last subject before lunch, and the time melts away.
I trudge to the cafeteria in signs of finding Liam.
Liam is my best friend. We've known each other since we were young, and we've grown up together. He's the brother I don't have really.
"Harry!" Liam called from a blue circular table. He waved me over to the table where him and a few other of my friends sat.
"Hey guys," I greeted them. Zayn and Liam smiled and took a bite of there food.
They started a conversation on a topic I was unaware of because I zoned out.
Where could she be?
What does she do?
How old is she?
Fuck, what's her name?
I mentally curse at myself for thinking about someone I don't even know.
"Harry?" Zayn asked, snapping me out of my daze. I looked up dully, and my heart stopped.
There she was. Her purple ended hair spilling out of a gray beanie. She wore overly distressed jeans, with Keds and a plain black v-neck. Of course, there's those damn earbuds.
I got up ignoring Liam and Zayn's constant calls and went to her table where she sat by herself, gazing at a notebook.
"Hi," I said. She continued to look down at her notebook, which I concluded had notes in it.
"Hello?"
Finally my annoyance took over, and I yanked the buds out of her ears.
"What the fuck?" She said.
"Oh look who actually talks," I said sarcastically.
"I don't know who you think you are but that was fucking rude. You don't just pull someone's earbuds out, especially when you don't know them."
"Oh but I do know you, and I don't care if it's rude or not. You're constantly rude to me, I'm just trying to be nice." I told her. Her green eyes softened a little.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Harry remember? Your neighbor?"
"Oh yeah the annoying asshole who insisted upon helping me," she laughed.
"What's your name? You never did tell me," I said. She rolled her eyes, and took a bite of her cafeteria pizza.
"It doesn't matter,"
"Yes it does. That's what you said yesterday. I'm not asking about your virginity, or your social security number or anything crazy. I just want to know your name."
"You want to know about my virginity and social security number when you just met me? God Harry your nosey as shit," she said. She had light in her jade eyes, something that was different from yesterday.
"No I was just-" I was cut off by the bell. She gathered her things with a smile illuminating her face.
"Noelle," she said before turning on her heels and walking away.
