I woke up to the sound of foot steps patterning along the wood floor. I opened my eyes, and rubbed the sleep out of them, to find Noelle putting on her shoes.

"Harry it's okay, just go back to sleep," she whispered.

"No where are you going?" I tried to whisper back. My voice was raspy, and she just looked at me and smiled. As she pulled the heel of she shoe on her foot, her hair fell in a waterfall over the sides of her face, and she pulled one side back behind her ear.

"I have to go home Harry, my grandmother is probably having a conniption because I'm not there." I sensed she was lying, but then I remember she told me she lived with her grandmother last night. But I also remembered how the man said he would be back today. I want to follow her so bad, find out this secret that she hides within the depths of her soul.

"Don't leave yet," I begged. I sat up out of my lying down position.

"Harry it's one in the afternoon, I just woke up. I shouldn't of even stayed here last night. My grandmother is going to kill me," she said walking to my door. I got up and grabbed her wrist. She looked at my torso up and down and I realized I have no shirt on. At this point I don't really care.

"Let go Harry, I'm serious. I appreciate everything you've done but I have to go. You don't know my grandmother and you don't know what-"

"I don't care. If you have to leave, fine but I want you to stay. I'll explain to your grandmother myself. At least let me give you something for your headache."

"How did you know I had a headache?"

"Hangover, I'm not stupid. I've suffered from many," I laughed. M

"Fine," she groaned. I smirked and lead her down the steps. My father wasn't in his usual stop on the couch surrounded by alcohol. All of the bottles were cleaned up and he's at work. He works all seven days a week at the firm because there's "always clients that need a lawyer" as my father justifies it.

"You're house is nice," Noelle complimented.

"Thanks," I shrugged. "It's kind of lonely when it's just you all the time." We walked to the kitchen, and I walked straight forward to the medicine cabinet. I retrieved two orange circular tablets, and a water. I handed her both, and she chucked the ibuprofen in her mouth and chugged some water to wash it down.

"Thank you Harry... For everything."

"Noelle stop thanking me, it's what friends are for," I half smiled. I knew I was pushing it by saying friends, but she smiled when I said it, which surprised me. She turned on her heels and walked out of my house shutting the door behind her.

I contemplated following her, but I decided against it because of the man visiting her today. I don't want to ruin the trust I have established with her so soon by sneaking around.

"Harry, get up," my father barked. It's now Monday morning. Yesterday I didn't see Noelle and just moped around all day, bored out of my mind. I could've called Zayn or Liam, but I'm pissed at Liam for what happened at the party and Zayn is usually with him.

I completed my normal school routine where I groan, stumble out of bed, get dressed, brush my teeth and grab some sort of mobile breakfast before hopping into my Range Rover and driving to school.

I had hopes that I would see Noelle and get to talk to her today, but I wasn't too wishful because her attitude from the weekend could've done a one-eighty.

I trudged through my classes, until lunch finally rolled around. I sat with Liam and Zayn as usual, but Noelle wasn't anywhere to be found. I worried, but didn't give it too much thought because she can handle herself, I know she can.

"Harry, are you alright?" Liam asked.

"Fine," I replied coldly. I didn't feel like associating with him after Friday. I shouldn't be so hard on him because he always acts like an ass when he's drunk, but the fact he targeted Noelle pisses me off.

"Sorry about Friday, I know I should stop getting drunk but that's beside the point. I know you took Noelle from me, so did you get laid?"

"Took Noelle from you?" I chuckled sarcastically. "She's mine. And for your information, no I didn't get laid. I'm not looking for some quick fix like you. It's fucked up."

"Really? Not from what she told me." Liam scoffed. "You're getting soft Harold."

"And what exactly did she tell you Liam? She was drunk and so were you. And I'm getting soft? Since when? I've never been into one night stand shit."

"Nevermind. She's a pretty thing though," Liam smiled. The bell rang, and he got up and threw his food away before carrying on to the next class.

Anger was boiling in my veins.
