Husbands.

'Dayu'

'Feng Jianyu' 

Dayu flinched at the voice coming from outside of the room.It was Wang Qing's. What could he possibly want at this hour. Dayu dragged his feet outside. His nose instantly caught a fragrant smell coming from the kitchen downstairs. He quickly climbed down the stairs and showed up in the kitchen. Wang Qing was busy serving the food,he didn't noticed Dayu's presence. Wang Qing walked back and forth carrying plates of dishes and rice. Dayu silently watched from aside.

Ever since he came to this house,Wang Qing had been treating him nicely. Not once he asked when will Dayu leave. During these few days,Dayu wasn't able to be home because of his fanmeeting and tours. Now that he finally wrapped up his promotion,he can spend more time studying his character for his next project. He still have some activities related to his newly released song but he thinks that he can manage his time properly.

'Ah!How long have you been watching there?You should make a sound if you are here' Wang Qing was startled when he finally realized he's been watched.

'Sorry.I didn't mean to scare you.Why did you call for me?' Dayu walked in and sat down at the table.

'How long have you been in that room.You didn't have your meal yet right?Join me for dinner' Wang Qing said as he serves Dayu a bowl of rice and take a sit across him.

Now that Wang Qing mentioned it,Dayu noticed that he had locked himself up since afternoon. He immersed himself in reading the script. No wonder he feels empty,he hasn't properly feed his stomach.

'Thank you for your concern' Dayu properly held the chopstick and started eating.

'It's my duty as your husband' 

Dayu almost choked himself when he heard that. How can Wang Qing casually addressed himself as another guy's husband!Since when do they agree on taking responsibilities as husbands. That husband word alone disgusted Dayu.

'The food doesn't taste nice?' Wang Qing asked upon seeing Dayu disgusted face. Dayu promptly shook his head. It wasn't the food but rather words.

'Is it fun teasing me?' Dayu asked. He can never figured out what's on Wang Qing's mind.

'A little..I am helping you to portray your character better' Wang Qing chuckled. Seeing Dayu's reaction was fun to him.

'Why are you home?Don't you have work to do?' Dayu mockingly asked. Wang Qing usually busy with his own schedule. 

'Night time should be spend with family.' Wang Qing casually answered.

'No,i am free today and tomorrow.Why?Do you want to practice a particular scene with me?It's easier since we are living together now' Wang Qing shifted his sight toward Dayu.

'En,we can do it tomorrow since the filming starting next week' Dayu nodded and finished up his food. 

He was still sitting and waiting for Wang Qing to finish up his so he can clean up the table. Once Wang Qing finished eating,Dayu stretched out his arms and started collecting the bowls and plates. He carefully bring them over to the kitchen sink and washed the utensils they used earlier.

'What are you doing?I can...' Wang Qing couldn't finish up his word when Dayu cut in.

'I should do my part as your husband as well.I can't depend on you alone,i am capable of doing things on my own' Dayu firmly stated that he is also a man. 

Wang Qing had no more argument,he thanked Dayu for his good intention and leave the kitchen.

Wang Qing sat down and resume on revising his script. The first and second scenes required him to use his strength and there are some fighting involved as well. He carefully read the script and mumbled to himself as he acted out his character. 

Dayu came over and sat right across Wang Qing once he's done. He placed his palm on his chin and before he knew it,he already gazed Wang Qing in awe. An experience actor sure delivered his dialog differently,Dayu thought.In a spur of moment he was questioning if Wang Qing seeing anyone at that moment. Wang Qing is a good looking man,he taller and his facial feature is better. He was in the center of attention everywhere he went. There is always crowd of fans waiting for him at the main entrance.

'Are you seeing anyone?' Dayu unconsciously said that out loud but Wang Qing showed no response to it. Dayu was relief,perhaps Wang Qing was too deep into reading that he didn't hear the question.

'Yes' 

Just when Dayu thought of leaving Wang Qing alone,he answered.

'Really?Is she someone from the industry as well?' Dayu asked,his face showed excitement but his heart was unsettled.

Wang Qing who was reading,set his script aside. He looked straight as he tries to figure out what could possibly be on Dayu's mind.

'Yes' Wang Qing answer shortly.

'Ah- She must be a beauty.You should spend more time with her and treat her nicely' Dayu adjusted his sitting position and randomly grab a magazine on the table in front of him. He flipped over pages. He saw a pair of feet moving closely and looked up to find Wang Qing's face before his eyes. He pulled his head in shock.

'Are you seeing someone?' Wang Qing suddenly asked.

'N..no,i am not' Dayu stuttered and tried to hide his nervousness.

'Then you should' Wang Qing turned his back and walked away after he said those words. Dayu was confused. What was that suppose to mean? Dayu stood up.He rushed and grabbed Wang Qing's arm.

'What do you mean by that?' Dayu pulled Wang Qing's arm as he speaks.

'I mean as what i said' Wang Qing furrowed his brows.

'So you mean i should find someone so i won't meddle in your relationship?Don't worry,i won't do that.I can't wait to finish this one year term of our marriage.You can go out with anyone you want' Dayu tried to leave but Wang Qing's reflex was a lot quicker. Before he knew it,he already had his back against the wall with Wang Qing's arms on his both side preventing him from escaping.

'Why are you so angry?' Wang Qing's question was simple. Dayu had the same thought too. Why must he be angry?

'Is it because the thought of your husband having affair outside?If you dislike it then i will fix my eyes on you and only you' Wang Qing softly said.

'Are you crazy!You must be!Just see whoever you want,it has nothing to do with me!' Dayu said angrily. He wasn't really sure who's the crazy one here.

'It has everything to do with you.I am married to you' 

Dayu forcefully pushed Wang Qing away. He had to use all of his strength to break away from that tall,well-build figure of Wang Qing. He stomped away angrily and quickly climbed up the stairs heading to his room.

Wang Qing sighed. Just when they are on a good term,he always had to make Dayu angry. Ever since that man appeared in his life,he feels that his whole life no longer dull. Dayu reminded him a lot of his first love,the girl he once met during his high school life. They only see each other for a brief moment but that girl gave a huge impact on his heart. She too has that tear mole at the lower corner of her eye. Recalling those moment at his high school graduation,Wang Qing smiled.

Dayu still hasn't cool down. Not because he was angry with Wang Qing but he was angry with himself. Wang Qing was kind enough to let him stay there for as long as he needs but he had to make a huge fuse over such a petty thing.It's true that Wang Qing has the freedom to date and see whoever he likes.It's true that they are married,but married between men can it be called as a marriage? Why does he feels uncomfortable when Wang Qing didn't deny seeing another person. 

'Urgh!This is all your fault Wang Qing. You keep mentioning husband this husband that. Have you ever consider my feelings for once!' Dayu pulled a blanket and covered his head.

Husband!That word irritated him the most!
