(Clarissa's POV)
I found a metal tool. I ran towards the door and hit the glass door with the metal tool. I carefully ran in and went to Imani. She was definitely bleeding. I called 911.
Operator: 911, what's your emergency?
Clarissa: yes, operator I have this friend that shot herself with a gun. I need an ambulance right away right now!
Operator: ok ma'am what's the address?
Clarissa: juvein st. 170. Come quickly!
Operator: ok. What is the girls name?
Clarissa: Imani. And I'm Clarissa.
Operator: ok do you have a backup story of info about her?
Clarissa: well things have been happening between her, me, and this guy-
Operator: what is the guy's name?
Clarissa: Jake. So we got in a fight and Jake was both of our friends. I don't know why or how Imani got led into suicide since I haven't really been in her life since then. But it must have been for an awful reason. Jake is coming over right now-...the ambulance is here now. Thank you so much.
Operator: no problem.
That convo was very cheesy but it doesn't matter. Jake is here with the ambulance. The rushed inside and they realized that I broke the door to get inside. They understood why, picked up Imani and rushed to their car. Jake stood besides me in tears.
Clarissa: what did you do?!
Jake: I didn't do anything! She texted me saying sorry and stuff. She must've gotten jealous but I don't know the exact reason why. There could've been many reasons.
(Jake's POV)
We started walking towards the ambulance. We got in. I called my mom saying the situation. She understood and let me go. When we got there we had to wait at the waiting room. In the ambulance she didn't speak a word, nor woke up.
-one hour later-
We finally got called to the front and gave us the room she was in. Clarissa didn't want to go so I went. Imani's eyes were open...I walked up to her and gave her a hug..a tear went down her face. She got shot on her shoulder. I looked at her with a frown.
Why..I whispered.
She didn't respond on how shocked she was. She closed her eyes and ignored me. I sat next to her. I cried obviously. How would have I felt if I completely lost her. I over heard nurses saying her parents were coming in. Now this is going to be a problem. I could've lost her and not hear her voice again. These might be the last days, hours, or minutes with her. I wanted to spend my time with her. Clarissa walked in. Imani looked and she picked up her arm pointing Clarissa to the exit. She didn't listen to her and gave her a talk.
Clarissa: Imani, I know life might not be steady for you at the moment. But just know you were about to end your life right there. You had loved ones you didn't even spoke to. Your family cares about you. And whatever the reason you wanted to do this, was a good reason whatsoever. It might seem like the world hates you right now, but there is always people who are going to care about you more than anything. They would've died for you!
She remained quiet. She knew it was true that's why she didn't say anything. She cried even more. And Clarissa gave her a hug...
