Chapter 3

I opened the door, while the coldness within me swept away from all the warm heat of the house.

I could see my mum sipping hot chocolate, from the Disney branded mug I bought for her, on her birthday, it was Tiger, awwww, I thought as I was rembered by that moment.

But I was interrupted by my mum....

"Hi Sweetie", My mum said in quiet tone.

"Hello Mum", I replied softly.

I looked closer and she was busy reading the magazine ,'Kiss', she loved magazines;to find the gossips and chat about them to me and her mates. My God, she is a chatterbox.

I thought carefully about what happened in school while sliding in the seat.

"Coffee??" she said

"Yes,Please" I replied tiredly.

"Mum why you home so early?"

She usually works till 5pm so I stay home till that long. So I wondered what was soo special today to take a day off.

"Katie, you know, my old college friend, Emily, she's coming over today with her children so I decided to come home early and clear the house up."

Yes, the house did look fairly clean .... I wondered why..... but as wondering , I could feel the sensation of Jake popping into my heart.

" Katie!!"

"Oh, yes mum sorry umm..... what we having for dinner?"

"Oh sweetheart.... I decided to get a takeaway ,- a curry, pizza ...umm chinese.

whatever you wish to have.

Okay yeah? , Hurry then....! get ready they will be here in a hour or soo."

That made time to have a shower and straighten my hair,- good timing!

I ran up the stairs in confusion, so many words, emotions twisted all inside my little unorganised mind. I layed on my bed for a while thinking about everything which had just happened in a blur.
