Chapter 2

He was tall and had a muscular body, for one second I thought he was mine.

Even in my dreams, he wasn't mine as I could see all the girls struck their eyes towards his handsome figure. He would go to the more prettier girls instead of me!

I knew in a week or two he would have the title "Mr Popular", as i knew girls would chase him everywhere. Also, who would date a"nerd". - Thats me and thats what I have been called by the other popular kids, I think that that's why I don't have many friends as I'm a "nerd".

I looked at him with a curious look. He decided to look at me, when looked at each other for a minute, until Mr Lewis started to talk. I shivered and started to listen.

'This is Jake Anderson' shouted Mr Lewis as he pointed to the guy with the handsome figure and blue eyes (the one I was just talking about).

Jake's POV:

I was standing there looking at unknown people from unknown places. 

I was feeling isolated; it was like I was in the middle of nowhere.

However I could feel the pressure of someone's eyes heading towards me.

It was the girl sitting at the back, she was the only one standing out, also she did look familiar.

'I have met her before,'I whispered to myself as Mr Lewis introduced me.

I felt quite nervous settling in but hopefully I thought that this year will be the greatest year of my life.

Kate's POV:

All i thought about was the name,'Jake Anderson', it was a familiar name but I was unsure.

Anyway, the bell rang for Period 2, I had math and I wasn't that amazed. It went in a blur as I was my own world throughout most of the time.

After that, the day whizzed before my eyes, It was just revision that I kinda already knew, so bascially I just done (what people call) "zoned out".

It was home time!  I felt relieved that it was the end of the day, and I could finally go home.

I walked home as my house was a 2 minute walk from school. I slowly walked out of school , while the strong wind brushed my hair back.

It felt like winter had just began.
