My team and I were heading to get my parents. I found a little tape recorder under the seat. I told Louis to drive the car. I turned the recorder on. The voice on the tape was from a researcher for a company that made gasoline. He said an experimental gasoline the company was working on leaked into the city’s water supply. All the people who had drank the contaminated water turned into zombies. Hopefully my parents were not thirsty.
We arrived at my parents house and went inside. I found a note taped to the television that said, Ian if you are still alive, your father and I are leaving town while we still can. We are going to Las Vegas. Jack, Drake, Louis and I decided we would also get out of town and go to Las Vegas.
We were almost out of town when smoke started pouring out from under the hood. The engine then sputtered and finally quit. I pulled the car off to the side of the road and we all got out. I told my friends we need to find another car fast so we started walking. We walked about half a mile when it started raining and not a light rain either. Could this get any worse I thought.
We turned the corner at the end of the block. Down at the end of the street a semi truck had turned over and was on fire. The fire must have attracted zombies because they were all around the burning truck. We looked over and we saw a white car parked in front of a gun store. I opened the car door and looked inside but there were no keys. A corpse in the driver seat fell forward and it’s head hit the horn. All the zombies at the burning truck heard it and started running towards us.
I pulled the corpse out of the car and it dropped to the street. The zombies were half way to us. My team was shooting the zombies while I hot wired the car. I looked up because the shooting had stopped. Click! Click! One by one my team reported that they were out of ammo. A dozen or so zombies remained and were almost to us.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Three zombies dropped into the street after their heads exploded. Muzzle flashes from the roof of the gun store lit up the street. Bam! Bam! Bam! Three more headless zombies. I looked up and saw a girl jumping down from the roof. A beautiful blond girl, maybe twenty. She was wearing a short black skirt and a red windbreaker. With a pistol in one hand and a sub machine gun in the other she walked directly at the remaining zombies shooting each one in the head. She never missed once. She looked back at us and smiled. We all just starred in amazement.
"I got this!", Jack told us and walked over to her.
