“Ah, you’re Earl Labonte?” Ciel looked up from his desk from his paperwork. In front of  him was a young nobleman, with long blond hair and royal blue eyes, with skin as lovely as porcelain. Contrasting with Ciel’s blacks and blues, Earl Labonte wore a wardrobe of pink, white, and light blue. That was very odd for a nobleman of the Victorian era, after all. He was the only source of color in the room.

“And I am to presume that you’re Earl Phantomhive?” he asked, keeping up with the other’s politeness. The young adult nodded.

“A pleasure to have you” Ciel added, although this was a lie. He didn’t necessarily care for this Earl.  Just another vain dandy, he presumed. His own blue eyes darted to his butler, named none other than Sebastian. Sebastian had a serious look on his face when the Earl had entered, and kept it up.

“So, as you probably know, the queen has made me invite you to my manor, or I suppose moreso she has sent you here, for something she needed us to talk about. What did you need?” Ciel proposed the question to the other as he sat down. That’s when Ciel saw the woman that made Sebastian seem more on edge than usual. She was a beautiful mistress, rather promiscuous looking though. The woman wore a black and red dress, with a white apron and even dared to wear lipstick, a maid like herself. Under her dress you could see she wore brown boots to cover up her legs, and she succeeded. Her skin was a bit tan, contrasting with Sebastian’s lighter complexion, and her green eyes with long brown locks only made her seem like more of an opposite to him, what with his crimson eyes and raven hair.

“Well, I need… some help with a string of murders in London. As you know, I work with Scotland Yard, and they’ve been stumped, so they made me come to you,” Labonte admitted as he faced Ciel. This was Sebastian’s cue to get tea for the two, perhaps even do it with company. The maid seemed to have thought the same thing, as they locked eyes with one another. While the two nobles spoke, the two head servants of each noble walked side by side, glaring at each other, not saying a word.

“So… I didn’t expect you to be here,” The woman said, her Southeast American drawl immediately irritating the butler. Sebastian smirked at her comment, but then frowned.

“And do you think I expected you?” he asked, “Madelynne… That’s the name you’re using, if I’m correct?”

“How did you-!” she growled, but the butler had cut her off.

“You know that your master advertises your services, correct?” Sebastian pulled out a flyer from his coat and showed it to the maid, who then nodded. This flyer showed the demon in revealing attire in black and red, with her fake name over her curvaceous body. Money was being thrown at her drawn self, and she had a big grin on her face.

“That makes sense. I allowed him to do that, since I am a maid and a performer,” she admitted to her professions.  The demon butler nodded at her statement. Of course, a smirk was added afterwards.

He inquired in a rather rude way,“You put yourself out there for what reason? Money, sex, approval, what?”

“Call me crazy, but have you seen humans when they watch people perform? They get all happy and then they pay me for my acts… Even though they don't know that money goes to my master. But I enjoy seeing innocent humans smiling. Especially the children! Oh, children are-”

“Horrid brats who come into the world just to feed off of you until they become adults, and even then they ask you for money and expect you to do things for them? I hope that's your answer,” The owner of crimson eyes interrupted the woman again, while the orbs glare at lime green eyes, and those eyes glared back at the red pair. Both pairs soon turned a bright magenta, as both demons were irritated.
