It's not me it's you

School over?

My eye's open slowly. I scan the room for something familiar, as a figure enters the room.

" So your finely up." The voice comments.

" Sort of." I say.

" What day is it?" I ask.

" Monday." The voice answers.

Soon after the answer lily bursts into the room with the funniest smile on.

" Oh Suki, your just that kind of person." She says in a strange voice.

"What?" I ask.

" That one kid who misses the last day of school." Lily explains.

" Oh no, I slept a whole year!" I yell.

" Of course not, you slept a day or two." She tells me.

"Oh". I say embarrassed.

I slowly climb out of bed and begin to stretch. Then I think, what is lily doing here if there is school today shouldn't she be there?

" Lily why are you here if there's school today?" I push.

" Aaa.. I...um...missed the bus!" She lied.

" Lily!" I continue to push.

" Got to go byeee!" She yells running down the hall.

I guess I should go downstairs now. The strange figure I had seen before helped me downstairs, and had turned out to be my maid.

" Suki you look well." My mom said when I got downstairs.

" I guess." I say.

A loud noise comes from the pantry. Hmm what could it be I thought.

" What was that?!" My mom asks.

" I don't know, but I intend to find out." I tell her.

I walk towards the pantry and open the door.... only to find Lily picking through our food!

" Lily!" I scream.

" What, I really did miss the bus, so I thought that I would snack." She tells me.

" Can't your parents drive you?" I ask.

" Their aaaa...busy!" She says suspiciously.

" Lily!" I yell again.

" Ok ok I'll walk." Lily replied.

" Bye." I say.

" See you after school." She says.

After she left I asked my mom a question. " Is it just me or is lily at our house more than her own."

" It's not you." My mom said.

" Well bye." She exclaimed.

" Where are you going?" I questioned.

" Work!" She yelled irritated.

" Oh ok, but what will I do all day?" I asked.

" Watch a movie or something." She said.

I spent most of the day watching movies except for when Lily came over.

It was soon time for bed and I began my bedtime routine.

I pulled the covers over me and got comfortable, but all of the sudden I heard a noise from my closet! I got up then crept closer to it, until it was at arms length. Reaching out I closed my eyes and opened the door. Once it was open, I lifted my eyelids.

" Lily?" I asked. " What the heck are you doing here?" I questioned again.

" Oh hi." Lily said sounding suspicious as ever.
