As we arrived on the Enterprise, I went to a bathroom to change into my blue dress and black boots, with my starfleet sciences badge. I tied my shoulder-length curly brown hair into a small bun, before trying to find the medical bay. I ended up having to call Pavel to ask where it was. He gave me directions, and after a few wrong turns, I finally made it to the medical bay. I put my communicator away and walked in.
"Ah! You must be The girl Chekov! Nice to meet you!" A man said, and he shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you too, Doctor..." I said, and stopped as I didn't know his name.
"McCoy. Leonard McCoy. I'm the Chief medical officer. You are the deputy chief." He explained. I nodded and he sat me down at a desk.
"Doctor, may I ask you somezing?" I asked, and he raised one eyebrow.
"Fire away, Chekov." He told me.
"Can you show me around? I don't really know where I'm going." I asked him, and he nodded.
"Follow me." He said, and he lead me around the Enterprise. The last place we stopped was the bridge. And as we walked in, I saw that beautiful man again. Pavel turned around and stood up rather excitedly.
"Katia! I mean, Doctor Chekov!" He exclaimed. I smiled at him. Then, The Captain stood up to greet me.
"Hello, Doctor Chekov. I'm Captain James T. Kirk. It's a pleasure to have you onboard. From what I've heard, you're a whiz kid like your brother. How old are you?" He asked me. He was flawless.
"I'm 20, like my brother, keptin. It's a pleasure to meet you." I said, and he smiled at me. I smiled back, and was greeted by everyone else. Captain Kirk gave the warmest welcome, though, closely followed by Mr. Sulu. Pavel talked to me for a bit, until Captain Kirk told me and McCoy, or as he called him 'Bones', to go back to the medical bay, as we were about to warp somewhere. But as there was no ill crew members coming in, we were free to do what we wanted. I sat at my desk, and remembered the days I used to play at home with my twin.

"Come on, Katia! Let's play starships!" Pavel exclaimed as he dragged me out of the house into the snowy back garden. We ran to the playhouse, and used stuffed bears as our crew mates. Pavel was always captain. I would be the first officer and chief medical officer. We would create scenarios where we were attacked by mysterious aliens, and we would boldly go where no man had gone before.

"Doctor Chekov? Stop daydreaming! We need to work!" I heard McCoy shout, and I snapped back to reality.
"S-Sorry Doctor!" I stuttered. This had never happened before.
"Yeah, it's alright, kid. We've got an engineer in here with some burns that need tending to. Can you sort it? I want to see how good you actually are." He explained, and I nodded. I looked after the patient and patched up his wounds, before escorting him back to the engineering deck. The chief engineer stopped me as I was about to leave.
"Excuse me! I don't think I've seen you before, lassie!" He called as he ran towards me, with a little man following shortly behind. As I turned around, he gasped.
"You look like..." he said, until I interrupted him.
"Chekov? Yes. I'm Doctor Chekov, Pav- I mean Chekov's Twin."
"Ah. I'm Scotty. Nice to meet ya, lassie." He told me. I smiled at him. I said goodbye, and made my way back to the medical bay.

P.S: I know how to spell, I'm just changing the spelling when Pavel or Katia speak to fit their accent. I hope you like this story!
