You all walk in and take a seat, which is awkward. It's Leo and Kassie on one side, and you on the other. Has anyone ever looked more like a third wheel? They start conversation pretty quickly... mainly inside jokes that you don't get. You just sit quietly and wait for the server to show up. When they finally do appear, after what seems like hours to you, they automatically look to Leo and Kassie for their order... once again, awkward. You cough slightly and the server seems to just notice you're there. They give you an apologetic smile and introduce themself again.
"Hi, my name's V and I'll be taking your order today. What would you like?"
"I'll have a water, a garden salad with fries."
Kassie looks taken aback. "Just a salad and fries?" she says questioningly.
"Yea, I'm actually a vegan," you respond mousily.
This time it's Leo who's taken aback, "Really," he questions.
"Yea," you say blushing since this is the first time he's actually acknowledged your presence since your "date" started.
"That's pretty cool," Leo responds making your blush deepen.
"Aww look she's blushing," you hear Kassie say.
Leo just laughs. V comes back with your orders, well, Leo and Kassie's orders. You have to wait ten more minutes to eat. The night goes pretty well, but eventually it comes to end. You all get back in the car, you in the back, Leo and Kassie in the front, and they drive you home.
