CHAPTER-9

I weeped as the cold wind struck my barefoot. I cried all day after hearing from Amy about my accident.

Why did i do this to myself?

Why??.

I tried to kill myself just to make myself look like a killer. Now i'm a serial killer of myself and Sasha's.

I moved my night suit collar to my sshoulder to see the scars i brought myself through the accident.

I was rude to myself.

I wish i never loved him. I wish i never did. Not because he wasn't the right one or cause i was hurt.

Only cause he was the perfect one.

Those eyes that defined the kindness and love told me that when i first met him being an amnesiac. The fact that that perfect one never felt the same for me was the hardest part.

The hardest of all.

I knew i had a special something for him that the universe kept safely from the accident.

My love for him was true. I felt it in my veins, i felt it in the beat of my heart.
Even though i remembered his eyes when i first saw him, i never told anyone. Cause i had a feeling that it wouldn't bring me anything good.

And i was right. he was my beautiful problem since i knew him.

I sat in the maths class thinking how my life would have been if i wasn't hit by the car that day.

How it would ve been if i remembered everything.

i felt someone poking me on my shoulder. I turned and Freddie, one of the nicest kid that i've met in this class handed me a slip. And he pointed at Lyle.

i read the slip. It was written " Strabucks @ 5? :) ".

I looked back at him. He smiled at me. I sat straight looking back at the slip kept on my table. I took my pen amd wrote "sorry not interested" in a messy handwriting.

The bell rang as soon as i passed the slip to him. I packed my bag and got up to leave while Lyle blocked me.

"Why not?" He said looking around and then at me.

"I'm not interested that's it!" I said walking out the door.

He caught my hand. I looked back at him.

He sighed.

" I get it that you really need some space. But this distance kills me. It really does"

I tried my maximum to avoid his eyes, but now my eyes are on his.

"Can we give us another chance?"

I stared at his eyes for awhile and looked down.

"Um..ya! Sure! Being friends is no big deal" i said looking back at his face.

He stared at me which made me uncomfortable. I tucked my hair to the back of my ear looking away. He gave a quick smile and walked backwards.

"Then i'll see you around." He said.

A slight pain in my nerves gave me an elecrtic feel all over my body.

" I'll call you!" He shouted.

I felt uneasy. I felt like the whole world was twisting upside down.

"Starbucks at 5 okay!!" He shouted again.

I remember this... i remember these lines...

I balanced myself by holding the handle of the door. My hands became sweaty and it slipped off from the handle making me almost fall.

Suddenly i felt myself balanced by someone.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm Lyle. Heard your name is Venus..um cool name!" That was the first time we talked when we were ten.

I smiled back at him.

And when he first played the guitar well..

"God! The moron can play guitar too" i said.

" Well thanks but stop calling me moron!" He said.

When we had our evening meetings..

" I'm a bit busy! I'll see you around! Um...i'll call you okay!" Lyle said and threw the keys to me, walking backwards.

"Ohh..okay!" I shouted.

Every time i looked into his eyes..iknew that i was falling for him again and again.

I woke up. My pain was healed. Totally.

" I remember. I remember him!"

Tears that dripped down from my eyes proved it better.

He watched her as she walked down with her friends, laughing harder.

   As she passed by he hid behind the wall. He closed his eyes and kept his hand slowly on his heart.

His heart beat a million, a trillion times repeating the same thing.

Her.
